How do I burn .avi files to a CD?

Simply, how do I burn .avi files (in this case, a movie) to a CD using Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 Plantnium? All I want to do, is put this movie on a CD, to give to a friend so they can watch it on their computer, that is all. Any and all help would be appriciated, thanks guys!
