Guest GameCop Report post Posted September 7, 2002 Well, it's safe to say that one advantage of nepotism is that you can have not just one DVD dedicated to you, but TWO. The WWE hype machine continues to incessantly thrust HHH down our throats. Oh, and by the way, the DVD contains 6 of his matches: HHH v. Vince McMahon- Armageddon 1999 HHH v. Cactus Jack- Royal Rumble 2000 HHH v. Chris Jericho- Fully Loaded 2000 HHH v. Chris Jericho- Wrestlemania X-8 HHH v. Angle v. Rock- SummerSlam 2000 HHH v. Steve Austin - No Way Out 2001
Guest El Psycho Diablo Report post Posted September 7, 2002 woo! Go HHH~! *poses, spits water*
Guest MrRant Report post Posted September 7, 2002 I'm buying it. ::Poses and spits water infront of his TV to HHH's entrance when the Entrance DVD comes out::
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted September 7, 2002 ::Poses, spits water, and tears quad. Falls foward, lands on the guys in front of him, and creates a quad tearing domino affect.::
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted September 7, 2002 Another fact of how... HHH is God.
Metal Ed 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2002 I like that Triple H. He's pretty bitchin'. I tried to get my jacket like his, with the leather part over the denim part. It just made it all hot and I couldn't get through doorways. Still, I'd probably get this DVD if I had a DVD player or a VCR or something.
Guest treble charged Report post Posted September 7, 2002 Maybe they'll release it on Beta for you , Ed.
Guest Big McLargeHuge Report post Posted September 7, 2002 Another fact of how... HHH is God. Finally someone else sees the light.
Metal Ed 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2002 I don't have a beta player or nothing, either. My ma bought a video camera a couple years ago and we used to put tapes in that and watch 'em through the eye hole. Since I moved out, I ain't seen too many movies. I might see if I could watch that Triple H DVD down to the Circuit City, though. Metal Ed knows some pretty rockin' dudes up there that could hook me up. Guest godthedog Report post Posted September 7, 2002 as always, metal ed speaks the truth. is this another one of those sorry ass 'storytelling' dvd's with the matches as extras? or is this a dvd exclusively containing matches & stuff? cause if it's a storytelling dvd, they've only got 5 months that haven't already been covered by a trips dvd. either way, i'm not picking this one up. i got the rumble & fully loaded matches on dvd & tape, respectively, i can borrow a friend's summerslam or no way out tape if i feel like it, & the rest ain't worth owning. Guest RazorxEDGE Report post Posted September 7, 2002 What could this new DVD possibly cover? The previous one covered everything up until April of 2002.
Guest KingOfOldSchool Report post Posted September 7, 2002 Hasn't Triple H had his dick sucked by the WWE enough? ...Rhetorical question, I already know the answer. And we get to see him beat Jericho not once, but twice.... Fully Loaded was a good match, I'll let that one slide, but the match from WM-X8 doesn't deserve to see the light of day. Aren't all those other matches on dvd anyway? Not to mention that if WWE knew they'd already be putting out another dvd, they should've just stuck the matches on the last one and jacked up the price by a few bucks... Now they'll gouge the consumer for another 20-25 per. Enough bitching from me...
Guest Big McLargeHuge Report post Posted September 7, 2002 I will be picking this up. All those matches are either solid or great. This DVD will probably have tons of footage of people kissing his ass or just bash the net for hating Steph and generally being stupid. Speaking of which, when does Steph get a DVD? Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted September 7, 2002 Actually, the new one supposedly ignored his awesome late-1999 to mid-2000 run as champ. Perhaps they'll get into that here, as THAT DAMN GOOD was his main catchphrase then. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest Big McLargeHuge Report post Posted September 7, 2002 So when can we expect "Cerebral Assassin" and "I Want Your Ass"?
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted September 7, 2002 HHH v. Chris Jericho- Fully Loaded 2000 SOLD (Off-Topic: Oh god. even more retarded icons)
Guest Lord of The Curry Report post Posted September 7, 2002 Why in the fuck of all fucks isn't this DVD called " HHH: Burying Jericho"......?
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted September 7, 2002 Uh... Last Man Standing was a great match, no matter who carried who. And I know I may get killed for this, but it's the only Jericho match that really truly had me excited. Typically when the guy is on TV I just sit there and stare blankly and wonder why he's so special or whatever.
Guest godthedog Report post Posted September 7, 2002 trips didn't bury jericho at fully loaded, jericho took a royal shitkicking and came back for more, gave trips a royal shitkicking of his own, and trips barely won by the skin of his teeth. both guys came out of that match looking like a million bucks. it's about as close as you can get to making 2 opponents look exactly evenly matched without going to a draw. i don't think either guy was doing any 'carrying' in that match, per se. each guy seemed to be holding his own quite remarkably, & the give-and-take reminded me of flair/steamboat. Guest MrRant Report post Posted September 7, 2002 But that goes against Smark Logic. If HHH wins then Jericho is being buried.
Guest alfdogg Report post Posted September 7, 2002 Yeah, Jericho was only sent right back to the I-C ranks for the next 11 months after that loss. He didn't get buried.
Guest MrRant Report post Posted September 7, 2002 So if he were demoted to that for say hypothetically "being a bitch"... would your head explode?
Guest godthedog Report post Posted September 7, 2002 Yeah, Jericho was only sent right back to the I-C ranks for the next 11 months after that loss. He didn't get buried. that was AFTER fully loaded, i'm talking about the match. please point to me one instance of the actual match where triple h buries jericho or makes him look bad. Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted September 7, 2002 HHH v. Chris Jericho- Wrestlemania X-8 Will it have the build up to this match with Lucy the Dog taking a dump on the floor, Chris Jericho walking Lucy, and the limo hitting Lucy? If so, I am SO there. Guest alfdogg Report post Posted September 7, 2002 that was AFTER fully loaded, i'm talking about the match Ahh, okay. My apologies.
Guest DARRYLXWF Report post Posted September 7, 2002 I hear they scrapped the Jericho DVD for this new HHH dvd.
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted September 7, 2002 On the Game DVD he mentions doing a workout DVD so maybe we get to see what needles Triple H uses. I'll probably pass since I have 4 of the matches already
Guest Grenouille Report post Posted September 7, 2002 HHH v. Cactus Jack- Royal Rumble 2000 This match is good and all, but does it need to be on this DVD too? They couldn't have changed it up by putting the HIAC match instead.
Guest Incandenza Report post Posted September 7, 2002 I'm surprised the tag title switch isn't on there. Yeah, Jericho got the pin, but it wasn't like HHH jobbed in it. Plus, that Hunter was able to finish the match makes him a GOD AMONG MEN, and therefore deserves a place on the DVD.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted September 7, 2002 They couldn't have changed it up by putting the HIAC match instead. I think he made a mistake, and the HIAC is the match going on there. The RR match is already on the first one.
