Anything after the first match pretty much ate a fat bowl of cow testicles.

Bret Hart's incoherent retarded ramblings gave me an instant headache.

Having to see Kronic sucked my ass.

The commentating during the midget match was alright.  Actually, I thought Madden was funny most of the night but Borash is an annoying looking fag who needs to be shot.

The tripple threat match was a big ass letdown for obvious reasons.  Hey, I have an idea.  Let's take two wrestlers(Juvy and Eddie)who have had past problems with drugs and alcohol and let's put them somewhere that they can concentrate on their work. How about....Las Vegas?  Great idea.

Devon Storm and Sabu was alright except for it was too long and everything Sabu touches turns to shit.

Larry's interview pissed me off.  First, Vince McMahon will never wrestle your hasbeen ass.  Secondly, why talk about Chris Jericho?  Larry didn't have a fourth of Jericho's talent in his prime.  Larry, you old bitter cunt!  OUCH!  He called Jericho short!!!!  That must really hurt Jericho while he's in stadiums putting on good matches and Larry's selling pirated videotapes of himself and autographed 8X10 glossys for 45 bucks in a high school gymnasium near you!  He sucked at commentating in WCW.  He just sucked on my tv.  Now he can SUCK MY DICK!

Lodi and Lenny vs. the Cat and Rick Steiner was undeniably gay and boring.  Lodi sucks.  Rick Steiner sucks now.  The Cat has ALWAYS sucked.

Jarrett vs.  Christopher was pretty good.  I actually like Jarrett as a main eventer, but the match was held down because of Christopher's gimmick.  It was a perfectly acceptable match compared to the rest of the shit I've had to watch tonight, though.

When I wanted an alternative to the WWF this is NOT what I meant.  Why the FUCK did they not just have Jarrett vs. Lynn?  Or Jarrett vs. the winner of the first match?  BECAUSE WWA SUCKS VERY, VERY, VERY LARGE ERECT WHALE COCK!

Good day.

I say it should have been JJ vs. Guerrero.

Juvi and Psicosis could have just had a singles match.

You gotta love how Zybysko calls out two people who aren't even aware that the PPV exists, and acts like a big shot that they didn't respond. The only thing Larry has on Jericho is his extraordinary stalling ability. And I've seen Jericho stall, and that man can stall!

Why couldn't we just get Steiner vs. Jarrett? It's not like they have to put out coherent storylines or anything. No one will remember this PPV by the time the next one happens, so just put out the best matches you can.

With the workers they had, I would have done the following:

Jeff Jarrett vs. Scott Steiner

Eddie Guerrero, Psychosis and Low Ki vs. Juventud, Chris Daniels, and AJ Styles (trios match)

Grandmaster Sexay and The Cat vs. Lenny and Lodi

Rick Steiner vs. Reno

Sabu vs. Devon Storm

It must have boiled down to this:

Steiner wouldn't job to JJ.

If they wanted to put on the best matches possible, kronik and rick steiner would not be apart of the promotion.

Ideally, they should have kept the 6 man cruiser

Since they had Lynn available, Lynn vs Juvi vs Psychosis (although both Juvi and Psic did not impress tonight)

keep Disco vs. Lawler's Kid

JJ vs. Eddy ( i personall y don't care if I see JJ wrestle again but this would have been solid)

Maybe Lenny and Lodi vs. Crowbar/Sabu (that hardcore match was pathetic and maybe the AGD could have reigned in the spottiness with some decent wrestling.)

And I don't care if I ever see Poppa pump again. Maybe they could have let him squash the Cat or some other idiot like his brother.

Explain this to me:

Ernest Miller can, at the least, put together an entertaining and coherent promo. Scott Steiner can not.

Scott Steiner has wrestled about 10,000 matches as Rick Steiner's tag team partner, so they could probably improvise one with Lenny and Lodi (who have also worked together for years) and prevent a one-minute squash. Ernest Miller has never tagged with Rick Steiner.

Scott Steiner can wrestle. Ernest Miller can not.

So what does WWA do? They have Scott Steiner do the long-winded, pointless promo, and Ernest Miller wrestle in a tag match with Rick Steiner that looks like it was booked on the fly do to someone no-showing (I'm guessing Road Dogg).

Someone please give them a lesson on utilizing talent.

If they knew how to utilize talent they would have kept Rick Steiner off the ppv since he has none. But you are right. We both came up with ideas on how the ppv could be so much better. Without a tv deal, they don't need solid storylines, they need solid wrestling and they did not deliver!!!!

My thoughts on the show....

(I'll dived into too sections matches and promos, YES I am that anal retentive enough to rate a promo)

Matches

6-Way Cruiser match ***

(A couple of blown spots near the start, but picked

up near the end)

Reno vs Alan Funk *1/2

(Dose any one find it ironic that it used to be the WWF making

fun of the competition by having some one impesonate Hogan and his mannorisms?)

Kronic vs Native Blood 1/4*

( Not Just a squash but a squash with Pinache)

Midget Madness **

(I am not as hard on midget matches as some people and this was a small, no pun intended  step above the usual crap)

Eddy vs Juvi vs Psi *** 1/2

(Match was decent if spotty and it was good to see Eddy back)

Devon Storm vs Sabu **

(To use that tired old Cliche Entertaining Crap)

Lenny/Lodi vs Cat/R.Stiener DUD

(A squash but not as much Pinache as the first squash

and that is saying a lot.)

Jeff Jarrett vs Brian Christopher ** 1/4

(Sigh nothing too offensive but nothing the WWF has done before and better at that)

Various Promos and Unsactioned Confrentations

Opening Music Number DUD

(To quote Krusty the Clown "What the hell was that?")

Bret Hart *1/2

(At least he did not whine about being

screwed)

Scott Stiener vs Disco *1/2

( At least Stiener looked half decent so there is still hope for a job in the WWF)

Eddy vs Jerry Lynn **

(Hey if they have this match it will give me an excuse to order the next PPV)

Larry Zybisco DUD

(Oh sure Larry like Vince just HAPPENED to be WATCHING the PPV and will just fly out on his lear jet and answer your little challenge. For GOD SAKES Man it happend 20 years ago that's even more pathetic the BRET HART and even he did not use his piece to go on a whiny tirade about  being screwed Vince Mcmahon and he was only "Screwed over" 5 years ago, Yeesh grow up.)

Ahem all in all a solid but not spectacular effort from the WWA which I shall give a thumbs solidily in the MIDDLE

So untill next Time

DON'T BUY ME ANYTHING....

(Yeah Yeah Iused a number of Keithisms in this report but as my mama siad if your are going to steal from somebody steal from the best)

I watched the PPV last night and in spots it was pretty good, though it seemed much too similar to WCW at the end.  Some of the guys like Eddie and Sabu I was just glad to see again.  I may be crazy but I think Sabu could bring life to the crappy WWF hardcore division.   I still like Sabu and I am one of the few people who will admit this.   I was surprised to see Jerry Lynn tonight, he's a perfect opponent for Eddie.  He's used to jobbing to the frog splash.

I must admit that Zybzsko's promo was just embarrassing, with his calling out of Vince and running down Jericho.  I was like "dude, you WISH you were Jericho right now!  And by the way, Bruno retired after kicking your ass, you never beat him."

Anybody got pics or screen-caps of Alan Funk? The guys on Live Audio Wrestling said he's just freaky doing his Funkster character.

I must be the only person that was entertained by every match, even the Kronic squash...

I thought it surpassed No Way Out at least, and entertained me more than the WWF has since, actually, around the time of Jericho and Benoit's push.

Here Are My Thoughts

6-Way Cruiserweight Match

-Good to see Tony Mamaluke back on PPV.  Decent enough match and all six of these guys worked very hard.  Chris Daniels should have went over though.

Reno vs. The Funkster

-Funk is pretty damn funny with his Hogan impersonation.  I heard he was doing this in the HWA and was getting good reviews.  This match had me laughing a few times and did anyone else notice that Funk even held onto the ropes and pointed at Reno upon entering the ring, just like Hogan in the 80's?

Kronic vs Native Blood

- Whatever.  Kronic squashed the natives.  Match was better then their effort versus Kane and the Undertaker.

Hardcore Midget Match

- These were two tough little fuckers.  The match still sucked ass as do all Midget matches but the effort was there on their part.

Eddy vs The Juice vs Psicosis

- Not bad but not what I was expecting.  Eddy appeared to be in top form and I am a big Psicosis fan.  Match would have been better if I hadn't seen the 6 man earlier which was a lot better.

Devon Storm vs Sabu

- Good to see Sabu and Fonzie back.  Spotfest match here which reminded me of ECW in a lot of ways.  Both guys took their bumbs and the match OK IMO.

Lenny/Lodi vs Cat/Rick Steiner

- Lodi's signs ruled.  Cat sucks.  Steiner sucks.  And they won the match.  You figure this one out.

Jeff Jarrett vs Brian Christopher

-Odd choice for a main event but I guess this truly was booking on the fly.  Personally I would have put either Eddy or Disco Inferno in the main event but this was their choice and they have to live with it.  Match wasn't very good but at least Jarrett retained.

Other Stuff

Bret Hart

- Seems to have trouble speaking in public lately.  Perhaps due to the Goldberg kick?  It was good to hear him give props to the Canada Men's Hockey Team, but his appearence was mostly to get the fans pumped, which it failed to do.

Scott Steiner killing Disco

- Disco Inferno could have been used in so many better ways than this.  Steiner still sucks ass and did anyone notice how skanky those woman were that he had with him?

Jerry Lynn

- I was shocked to see this one and only found out this morning that Jerry had been released from the WWF.  A feud with Eddy is a good way to start in a new company.

Larry Zybysco

Hold fuck.  Talk about burning bridges.  Larry pretty much ruined any chance he had of getting a job with the WWF with this shoot.  Mentioning Jericho and his height was a retarded thing to do and what is the point of laying down challenges obviously aren't going to be met.

Mark Madden

- I never liked him much on WCW TV but I thought he was whole lot funnier then ever on this PPV.  A lot of his smart ass comments made me laugh out loud. Did anyone think that when he got in the ring and started talking about Pittsburgh that he was going to bring out Shane Douglas?  I thought he was going to for sure but I was wrong.

I agree with you completely about Zbyzsko. He was never half as popular as Jericho and he stole the living legend moniker himself. What an asshole.

I hated the Sabu-Storm matchup. That was just exposing the business with all the poorly executed spots.

I'va also mentioned how Madden was surprisingly good last night. I HATED him in WCW. I thought he was horrible but last night he was solid while I hope Borash never talks about wrestling again.

I actaully liked the show as an alternative to WWF.  I like Jarrett, Steiner, Storm, the Cruisers, Eddy, and Disco.  This show was far better than the 1st one and if they continue to get better and more professional I'll like it more.

The produstion and camera work was awful.  They missed a bunch of spots in teh cruiser's match and in the Sabu match.  They graphics looked like someone did them in a high school technology room and the lighting sucked.

Borash is terrible, he doesn't know thw names of teh moves.(kinda reminded me of Vince).  Madden is pretty decent on color.  They should bring in Joey Styles, as he was a pretty good play-by-play guy and a great shill for ECW. The commentating over the loud speaker should be eliminated.

Larry Z. calling out Vince was bush league shit and should have been left out of the show.  He could be used as a manager though.

And finally the crowd was just DEAD for almost the whole show.  Probably as a result of papering.

All the things I've mentioned could be easily fixed and should be.

Haha Larry Z still talking about McMahon? I havent seen this ppv yet, But I'm pretty sure its the same one he's been doing in Nashvilles USA fed.

Calling Jericho short? Larry's pretty short too. :/

My opinions don't quite match with the majority here, but anyway:

-6-man cruiser match

This match was running at about a 3/2 blown/hit spot ratio.  Okay, after seeing this, I can officially call Low-Ki an incredibly overrated piece of shit.  He did NOTHING but kick, kick, kick, over and over again.  It's like Tajiri without the charisma.  And he didn't even take care of the other guys, he was hitting them as hard as he could.  Shark Boy and Nova didn't show me very much either.  Tony Mamaluke was okay, Christopher Daniels looks horrible bald but has a lot of nice moves, and AJ Styles still rules the world.

-Funkster vs. Reno

Alan Funk's dead-on Hogan impersonation is so accurate that it's scary.  It's not even a parody, it IS Hogan of the mid-80's.  Match went on a bit too long, but was funny.

-Kronik vs. Jobbers

Oh my god this sucked.  The fat jobber couldn't even bump right.  Did somebody no-show?

-Midget hardcore match

The better midget (Tio) totally carried the other one (Puppet), but was a shockingly good match.  Frog splash from the top turnbuckle to the floor, while the victim is in a metal trashcan?  Death valley driver face-first onto the steel ramp, which was covered with thumbtacks?  Daaaaamn.  Quick, someone sign that midget!

-DUI vs. Xstatic vs. Nicho

Actually a very good match, better than the six-man in my opinion.  Told a good story, with some nice spots.  Jerry Lynn's run-in was also a huge shock.

-Devon Storm vs. Sabu

Sabu looked better last night than I've seen him in a long time.  He hit almost all of his spots perfectly, and was a bloody mess towards the end, but still kept going.  Devon looked good too, was believable as a serious heel.  Can't believe that people are downing this match.

-Lenny & Lodi vs. Rick Steiner & Ernest Miller

Why the hell was this even on the PPV?  Why not save a little time and money, and just go for Lenny & Lodi vs. Kronic?  Major dud.

-Jeff Jarrett vs. Brian Christopher.  The funny part is, the other day I was just watching a video full of Jeff vs. Brian matches from their old USWA days.  I don't think Christopher should've been here, they really should've put Scott Steiner in this part, but whatever.  They put on a decent match, especially considering the last-minute situation theu were in.  The old Memphis 101 tactics actually got over in Las Vegas, surprisingly.

Overall, I liked the matches.  HOWEVER, I must mention the TV production itself, which was the absolute worst I've EVER seen.  The cameramen and editors were beyond incompetent, they missed half the spots, always had the wrong camera angles, usually at the worst possible times.  The lighting sucked, too.  Most indy TV shows look better than this.  Mark Madden was tolerable announcing, but Jeremy Borash was horrible.

Bret and Steiner's promos weren't too good, Eddie and Jerry's were okay, but Zybyszko did indeed embarrass himself with the same exact whining sour-grapes promo he's been doing here in Nashville on USA's shows.  The promoter at the beginning looked like a kidnapping victim who had a gun pointed at him off-camera.  I know, bad comment considering recent events, but I'm not joking, that's literally what I thought when I saw how nervous he was.

Overall thumbs up, especially considering the WWF's most recent pay-per-view.

I didn't really hate anything but Kronik and the fat indian...er...native american.

I really liked the opening match.

After watching the 3 way again..it wasn't as bad as I thought when I saw it the first time.

If Sabu vs. Crowbar wasn't so long it would have been better...but it wasn't bad IMO

I liked JJ vs. Christopher.  I don't know why.  I mark for JJ.

I liked Funk vs. Reno too.

I didn't go into this expecting WrestleMania...so I wasn't very disapointed.

Gotta disagree with Scotts assesment of the PPV.  While it was not wrestlemania...for gods sake what is and what exactly do you expect?

Opening match..holy cow where did this Lowki come from?!!?  Loved his stuff.  Sharkboy was disappointing.  Guy must be all gimmick, little stubstance.  Daniels was great as was AJ Styles.  Only two I knew was Mamluke and Nova.  Nova wasnt as crisp last night as he was in ECW it seemed to me.  Or maybe Daniels and Lowki are that damn good.

The Funkster match was scary in the sense of how close an imitation of Hogan that was.  This guy must have watched a lot of him to get it down ie the bandana end in the mouth, the point at yer opponent so on.

Triple threat match was good.  Enjoyed JL comin out.  Was shocked by that as I dont read rumors every single day anymore.

The midget match was suprisingly good.  Those guys busted thier tails out there.  Was very impressed.  Only one liner that had me rollin was FLY MIDGET FLY!! (he stole that from mallrats btw...FLY FATA** FLY!!)

Steiner's ramblings as he searched for more slang for the word vagina were hilarious.  I dont find him impressive anymore, just funny.  Guy has so much gut distension I expect big poppa dump to explode any day now.  There is your future Superstar Billy G.  Watch and observe what steriod abuse does to a body.  Was that Midajah with him or has she gone on to somethin else?  sure didnt look like her.

Bret losin his train of thought was another of those wince moments as well.  Glad he retired, its obvious he just cant cut it anymore.  I hate that too.

Larry Z...well I love a good shoot but this just made them look cheap.  Leave the cheapshots to Vinnie mac.  I did appreciate the reminder of what a jerk he is though.  Its easy to lose that in the product he puts out.  JL's firing is a good example of the circus animal mentality and lack of respect for the biz Vinnie has.

That 30 second car wreck they called a tag team match between the blondes and steiner/cat was a useless waste of time.  thats all I will say on that.

Enjoyed seeing Kronic again.  What you call no selling, I call Monsters.  The biz needs them, like it or not.  Should have thrown Cat and Steiner at them..not that joke of a team they puledl out thier..well..you know.

And the last thing I can think of...the main event.  Surprisingly good.  BC did a great job, loved his mic work and my god that crowd was hot for that match.

All in all worth 20 bucks for sure, got it taped and I plan on ordering the next one.  I enjoyed it.  Thats what counts...screw workrate.  On a final note, if there is anything the net has been bad for, its wrestling.

Time to leave the rumor boards and talk of glass ceilings and who should and shouldnt be pushed behind and move back the wided eyed wonder we all had at one time about this biz.

Maybe one day when I feel up to it I will post on how I think the WWF now has two angles, one for the casual fan and one for the net.  Long story that I will try to explain sometime.

I don't know about you guys, but their previous PPV, "The Inception," looked a hell of a lot better than this PPV. I loved the Cruiserweight Survival match (since I am a big fan of Low-Ki, Christopher Daniels, Shark Boy, and AJ Styles) and the three-way International Cruiserweight Championship match, too. Those were the only matches I like, as for the rest, I can pass.

Bret "Hitman" Hart needs to go. I am sorry, I liked the guy when he was good from 1990-1997, but that concussion he has is really showing the effects in his promos. In my personal opinion, Larry Zybysko needs to take on the role as "commissioner." If you think about it, he hates Vince Mcahon "Jooon-ior" during his speech, so it would be wise to take on that role to make the WWA look legit.

The WWA needs to lay off touring in the states and should hold PPV cards in certain parts of the world like Australia, England, Ireland, perhaps the Carribean, Germany, etc. where fans over there are really starving for wrestling action and this would make their shows look big compared to the one on Sunday. "The Revolution" looked an awful like UWF (Herb Abram's promotion) "Beach Brawl" from 1991 in Palmetto, Florida.
