Guest cynicalprofit Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 Ive noticed something about some wrestlers, they have really bad scars on their backs, sometimes it looks like acne (Sabu), sometimes it just looks weird. Is this due to steroids or something else?
LaParkaYourCar Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 some might be barbed wire scars like on Sabu. Others are roid acne scars like HHH and Hogan.
Guest cynicalprofit Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 So its roids that give them acne....in which case why isnt the feds looking right at tv and saying "illegal steroid use, bookem dan-o"
Guest TheRockIsTheEuropeanChampion Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 Maybe it's 'cause they're just dumb wrestlers and no one cares... Or maybe, uhm.. huh. Back acne like that isn't always a sign of steroid use.
Guest cynicalprofit Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 Man normal back acne doesnt look ANYTHING like Sabu's back
Guest TheRockIsTheEuropeanChampion Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 Well, you try rolling around in barbed wire and stuff for a few years. It's fun~! I think Sabu is just one giant scar these days. Besides: Does Sabu look at all like a steroid user? There was somebody on this board once that was basically a steroid expert of sorts... Wish I could remember who he is... EDIT: I'm on RAW now !!! WHOO DADDY I'M ON RAW~!
Guest cynicalprofit Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 Barbwire doesnt give acne scars and hhh never hit barbwire boards.
Guest J*ingus Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 There are plenty of things which can cause acne scars on the back, and yes, steroids is one of them. But consider this: wrestlers are CONSTANTLY falling onto their backs, over and over again, usually slamming with all of their weight onto a relatively small portion of their bodies. That can fuck up the skin's chemistry but good. Also, the mats are often less than clean and germ-free.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 Very true about the mat being a haven for germs. There's a lot of sweat gets poured onto those things, and when it's under the lights all night, then rolled up and put into warm dark trucks...eew. I'm sure wrestling companies disinfect those things like mad, but still. In Dynamite Kid's book, he tells a HILARIOUS story about working in Japan, and they ribbed this guy by telling him the ring was infected, and gave him some "antibiotics." The poor sap took WAY too many of them, considering they were LAXATIVES~! read the book if you want to know the grisly details afterwards. man, that book is so great.
Guest BobbyBacklund Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 I will save you people the trouble, and if I remember correctly he took a shit in his pants during the match or something...
Guest Dr. Wrestlingphysics Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 Shit, eh? Sounds like Sid! Anyways, Back acne doesn't always mean steroid use, and steroid use doesn't always give back acne.
