I have a Cube and a PS2, and I like Cube better. Cube's must-have lineup is already going to suck the money right out of my pocket, whereas in the near future, I'm interested in maybe 2 PS2 games (Vice City, SOCOM). I don't know--Cube's library was small at the beginning, but I have gathered an incredible collection for it now, and there's great titles still on the way.

As for X-Box, they just don't have anything appealing at all.

I bought a PS2 when it first came out and it was far and away the worst system I've ever had. It was the biggest disappointment in video games ever as far as I'm concerned. When you look at everything that PS2 promised, we got none of it. There was very very slight improvement graphically over PS1 but that was it. The games went way downhill. The sports games were basically the same, on NBA Live I actually thought the graphics took a step backwards. In the whole time I had a PS2 I found three games that I actually found to be fun to play. Winback, Ace Combat 4 and NBA 2K3.

My favorite series is the Medal of Honor series. I couldn't wait for Frontline to be released for PS2. After the beautiful pics I saw in the months leading up to it, it looked awesome. I buy the game and the graphics were piss poor to say the least. It was horrible. Terrible. Pathetic. I didn't see ANY difference between this one and the first PS1 MOH game. And the gameplay itself was even worse. It was one of the worst games I've ever played. And that's saying something considering the original is my favorite console game of all time and Allied Assault is my favorite PC game of all time. So that was all I could take. The straw broke the camels back and I sold that peice of crap and gave Xbox a shot. I've been the happiest gamer I've ever been since. Xbox has become my favorite system of all time. They may not have the number of games that PS2 has. But most of those games are pure shit. Xbox seems to have quality over quantity. I have not played a bad Xbox game yet. I haven't had this much fun with a system since the glory days of the Genesis, where 95% of the games you play are fun and not just lets throw together a cheap movie tie in game and make a couple of bucks. The graphics are amazing, the controller is a lot better after you get used to it, the hard drive eliminates the need for those stupid fucking memory cards, being able to do stuff like rip music from a CD and use it as entrance music for your created wrestler in a wrestling game is fantastic and it just quite frankly PLAYS better. Most games on PS2 just seem really clunky. Even games that are on every system like NFL Blitz, just play better and are more fun on Xbox for some reason. For the past few weeks I've been beta testing the Xbox Live stuff and that's just makes it kick even more ass. And I'm of those who used to wonder why this system was even being made. I was 100% with Sony. I figured I'd really regret getting rid of my PS2 for this stupid system with this bulky controller. But 2 hours later I couldn't believe I waited so long. I've pretty much converted all of my friends from PS2 to Xbox after letting them play mine. And seeing as how pretty much everything good on PS2 is also either released on Xbox or on the PC as well, I can't think of a single reason to ever bother owning a PS2.

This is my second full semester with Gamecube, X-box, AND PS2 all within one or two steps, and between my 3 three roommates and myself, and the breakdown goes like this...

PS2 gets the most playing time, BY FAR. We play Drunken Driver a lot (Where we basically get shitfaced and play GTA3), Im trying to get back into Tony Hawk 3, I've picked up Freakstyle, only because I have much love for SSX Tricky. The Mark of Kri (or whatever is called) is getting a lot of playing time as well.

X-box gets the second amount of playing time. RAW stands out...a lot. Granted, it's not as good as No Mercy, but it's so fucking underrated, it scares me. Ive started to get into Hunter: The Reckoning, which is pretty cool. Personally, I can't wait to pick up Dead to Rights and... AND.... TOE JAM AND EARL THREE!!!

Game Cube gets very minimal. It's a pretty much an agreement that there is NOTHING appealing to the 4 of us... MINUS... MINUS Mario Sunshine, which one of my room mates has been playing non-stop, and an occasional Super MOnkey Ball 2 party game. I'm a lot more tolerant of the GameCube then before... but I still think it's weak to the other two. But like everyone else... that's just my feelings

I've got an N64 and a Dreamcast and the main games of interest to me are wrestling games, and with No Mercy on the 64 and Fire Pro on the DC, and looking at the wrestling games released since, I don't need a new system!

Out of the big 3, the X-box would be my first choice with WWE Raw, Burn Out!, Fifa World Cup 2002 and the promise of Shenmue 3.

BTW, my friend has an X-box (and a GC) and the controllers took no time at all to get used to, very similar in design to the DC pads, however, I never felt comfortable with a PS/PS2 pad in my hands.

TUS, shoulda gotten Tony Hawk on the Xbox and you get extra stuff like the oil rig level. Then again, maybe you didn't have the Xbox when you bought it. Oh well.

Well, all three systems belong to my room mate. He's the one who buys em, we all play them. And he got TH3 the DAY it came out. It's kind of like... just shut up and play :)
