Guest BoboBrazil Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 They are hyping a wedding angle between two guys who have turned into jobbers recently and are the worst gay tag team of all time. They get no heat whatsoever, except for Rico. Why are they hyping this angle so much? Do they actually think this will draw ratings? I just don't understand why they are hyping this acting like it is some huge event.
LaParkaYourCar Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 I'm getting the feeling that this is Vince McMahon's orgasmic endzone dance in the face of the PTC since he made them retract their statements. Once again it's just Vince putting his own desires above the fans. They had a whole Smackdown promotional commercial advertising the gay wedding during Confidential
Guest BoboBrazil Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 It is all they've been talking about every since they announced it on tv and they are hyping it as something huge in the Smackdown preview.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 They're kind of going above and beyond the call of duty for a mid-card angle. I guess since the PTC promised never to get on their case again, they're taking advantage of that and trying to use controversial angles to get their name out there. Not that I think that's a good method.
Guest The Electrifyer Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 From my luck, I just know my parents are gonna walk in on me right as I'm watching the gay wedding.
Guest snowfan Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 There has been hype? Where? On Confilocity and I have seen it on UPN. Vince does love exposing us to his fantasies and vengence kicks. Take that PTC.
Guest El Psycho Diablo Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 Either that..or there's some sort of massive debut..a swerve-like one..
LaParkaYourCar Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 From my luck, I just know my parents are gonna walk in on me right as I'm watching the gay wedding. You mean you're not changing the channel during that?
Guest Kinetic Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 There's no way this going to end in Billy and Chuck actually getting married. Someone is turning on someone. I have an angle idea wherein it's revealed that Bradshaw drugged Chuck and married him in a drive-thru chapel. I think that's pretty plausible.

Guest Zero_Cool Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 D'Von will get involved to make this one of the worst segments in wrestling history.
LaParkaYourCar Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 Sadly D'Von getting involved probably will be what happens. Maybe they'll pull a Beaver Cleavage in the middle of the ceremony and all three will say they're tired of this crap and walk off.
Guest Kinetic Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 It is a wedding segment on WWE television, so it's obviously going to be stupid. My only hope is that it follows the recent trend of being simultaneously stupid and perversely entertaining, i.e. Steph-Test and Steph-HHH renewal of vows.
Guest treble charged Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 The question now is, who will come out to their theme music? Billy? Chuck? Tune into SmackDown this week to find out!
Rob E Dangerously Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 What about this: Road Dogg comes in and declares that HE married Billy back in 1998.
Guest midnight_burn Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 It'll most likely end up with some ridiculous swerve, and whatever it is no one will care in the slightest.
Guest snowfan Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 What about this: Road Dogg comes in and declares that HE married Billy back in 1998. Truly showing the brilliance of the Mr. Ass gimmick.... Mr. A$$=Ratings
Rob E Dangerously Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 and then they can become the "Gay Age Outlaws" as Road Dogg does his prematch with a lisp and they both come down in sweaters.
LaParkaYourCar Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 Oooooooooh you didn't know silly?? Well your tight ass better call somebody girlfriend!
Rob E Dangerously Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 OOoOoOoOooh you didn't know! You silly philly, your assh better caww somebody! Lawdies and Gentlemen, I'm the Road Dawwg Jessee Jammes and he's the Bad Ash Billy Gunn! The New Age Outwahs!
Guest The Czech Republic Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 Sweaters are gay? Oh shit, I have drawers and drawers of sweaters. I have a bad feeling it'll end in "You many kiss the ass" and Chuck is going to kiss Billy's ass as "I'm an Assman" kicks up on the p.a.
Rob E Dangerously Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 would that provoke a Billy/Rikishi feud with a 'Kiss my ass' match at Survivor Series?
Guest TheArchiteck Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 Billy and Chuck never been around when someone says the word "marraige" have they? I hope this means they flip out and say this is only a "tag team for life" ceremony...and get all pissed saying their not gay or something.
Guest bob_barron Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 Bradshaw: The question is not if we but how many times did we consumate the marriage!
Guest TheRockIsTheEuropeanChampion Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 Billy and Chuck never been around when someone says the word "marraige" have they? I hope this means they flip out and say this is only a "tag team for life" ceremony...and get all pissed saying their not gay or something. Okay, that's true, but... What about Rico saying he would "give" Chuck away? What abour Rico being "Billy's best man"? What other kind of ceremony involves a best man?... I dunno.
Guest Ravenbomb Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 I can only hope that Christopher Daniels is the priest, he beats the crap out of Billy, Chuck, Rico, D-Von and goes on to win the Cruiserweight title the next week and feuds with Rey Jr. over it

Well.....maybe Rico thinks their getting married, but that wasn't Chucks intentions. Man I dunno......I just hope they don't get married. lol
Guest TheRockIsTheEuropeanChampion Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 Hm... That could be it, actually. It makes sense. I wish Road Dogg would come back and form the Gay Age Outlaws, though. Mark-out moment of the YEAR.
Guest Vern Gagne Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 Why does everyone say Bradshaw is gay??
