The History Channel

I LOVE the History Channel. Outside of being a WWII buff the channel sucks me in with different shows. An example would be the building of the Empire State building. Didn't really interest me at first but by about 10 min in I was sucked in and didn't even change the channel during commercials for fear of missing some of it. Modern Marvels flat our rules as well as Haunted History and all of the WWII stuff especially Great Escapes and Secrets of WWII.

Best channel on tv. Anything about WWII is always good. The coverage of the 9-11 anniversary was excellent.

Cheers too the History Channel.

Agreed, it rocks so hard.

That show with R. Lee Ermey looked pretty good the one time I saw it, too bad I don't get up that early usually.

Lots of great stuff on the History Channel.

My dad would always watch the channel a couple years ago and I'd just leave whenever he put it on, but now that I live alone I find myself watching the channel quite often too. Histories Mysteries is pretty cool.

I used to watch the History Channel a ton when I used to live in the US. I also enjoyed the History Civilization channel when I went back to the US for like 2 days a few weeks ago. They had a cool documentary on the Great Wall. I find Chinese history to be fascinating yet not something I can find much on in the way of documentaries and such.

Nowadays, I am left to the Canadian version called the History Network. It is usually not that good. I do like History Bites on it though.

History Channel is good when theres absolutely nothing else on, but its not that great. I still find it odd that Mark Summers hosts that game show..I still want him to ask someone if they want to answer or take the physical challenge..

The History Channel kicks ass! The special on punishment and the Founding Brothers series are the best things I've seen on TV for a long time.

Well if he isn't really that interested in history i'm sure he wouldn't find the channel that great. Or maybe he isn't interested in Hitler and WWII which is probably 80% of what the channel shows.

History was my favorite class in school so of course i like the channel as well.

Has anyone see that America on the Road special? That was some interesting stuff and made me want to hop in the car and just drive.
