Cheesesteaks

I happen to work at a place that is pretty well known in the Philly area, and constantly wins awards. So basically my question is, where did you get the best cheesesteak you've ever had?

I like Pat's and Geno's. Both as you know are in Philly, and I suspect you may work for one of the two. I'll go to either one depending on which one is less busy.

Pat's is OK. I haven't had Geno's.

The best I've had is one I made. I used to work at a Perkin's restaurant, and I used to make myself a super-special cheesesteak. Mushrooms, onions, green peppers, A1 all mixed together on the grill, then melt the cheese by mixing it in the meat/other stuff. Best I've ever had.

I like jims in philly. I'm surprised it wasn't mentioned. Genos and pats are cool also. To tell you the truth I never had a bad cheesesteak in philly at all.

We have a place called Red Door Subshop here that makes badass Cheesesteaks. Never had the priviledge to go to philly to get one from there, so the honor for me goes to the RDS.

Are you kidding? I live in Tennessee, we don't even know what a cheesesteak IS down here.

I like Pat's cheesesteaks...their cheese fries are good too. Also, there's a place out in West Philly called FuFu's that makes some good cheesesteaks too.
