Guest diavolina Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 apparently there is going to be a new cartoon series..all new episodes. so there's something for you fans to look forward to.
Guest MrRant Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 But will Shredder still be around?
Guest Zero_Cool Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 April had some hooters on her, didn't she?
Guest Incandenza Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 April had some hooters on her, didn't she? I agree with everything that he said. Where did you read/hear this, diavolina?
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 I hope it doesn't suck as much as when they tried to do it live, reminded me way too much of the Power Rangers. I remember going to the first two movies in the theatres. I also loved the saturday morning cartoon on CBS. And I had most of the games for the NES, SNES, and loved the Arcade Games. Cowabunga dude!
Guest Blue Bacchus Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 Im kinda surprised that this has just now hit this board... Click Here to view info on the new show.
Guest Ronixis Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 It will be on the new Fox Box in 2003 Feb. EDIT: Dang...sorry about that... Ronixis
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 What the hell is Fox Box?
Guest Eagan469 Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 What the hell is Fox Box? Fox Box is the replacement for Fox Kids. Fox decided this year to stop producing original Saturday morning programming, so they got an independent group to fill the block.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 As long as it's better than that disastrous attempt at a new live-action movie a few years ago...
Guest Lethargic Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 Who cares about TMNT when a new Ultraman show is coming on? ha
LaParkaYourCar Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 Dude they're making a cartoon of Kirby too?? This TMNT show won't be the same if April doesn't have big knockers and the voices are all different.

Yep which happened to be 4Kids Productions who as if this season handled the WBs kids lineup. It's better this way though with 4Kids leaving the WB, the WB can fully convert saturday morning into a Toonami block.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 I'm pissed about this Fox Box crap because I wanted Digimon: Frontier to be on Fox when it aired since if I missed it, I could catch the west feed 3 hours later.... DAMMIT! Oh, and the Kirby show had already been made for a while(it's anime) and the ONLY decent looking show out this Fox Box looks to be that Stargate show.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 I just checked out that preview site and man... they drew the Turtles kinda lazily. No muscle definition at all, but still, they look pretty good. Hopefully the show will be darker than the original(which would kick ass).
Guest Zack Malibu Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 There's a big write-up in the most recent Toyfare not only about Turtles, but the whole "retro resurgence" in cartoons and toys. From what I've gathered, the new cartoon will be a little truer to the original comic version of the Turtles. And no, Venus DeMilo will NOT be back, thank God. Funny how that "new Turtles" video is currently sitting on a shelf in my local Wal-Mart... (Must resist urge to buy crappy Ninja Turtles movie for $6.00...)
Guest Big McLargeHuge Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 I'll be watching. But like the new Transformers series, if it's too Japanimationy, I'll skip it all together. Whatever happened to X-Men: Evolution?
Guest Vyce Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 Dude, haven't you heard? The 80s are so in again. If you need me, I'll be reading my G.I. Joe comics, watching Transformers, and playing with my He-Man action figures.
Guest MrRant Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 Dude, haven't you heard? The 80s are so in again. Now if the chicks will just start dressing like 80's Madonna. And every guys starts dressing like they were in Miami Vice.
Guest El Satanico Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 Dude, haven't you heard? The 80s are so in again. Now if the chicks will just start dressing like 80's Madonna. And every guys starts dressing like they were in Miami Vice. aaaaaaaah Come on man don't even joke about shit like that. Good god the 80's sucked for clothing. All the women from the 80's looked like shit because their clothes were so friggin ugly and their hair was fried. Also guys dressed like their were the leader of a gay pride parade with the short shorts and cut off midriffs.
Guest Flyboy Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 Whatever happened to X-Men: Evolution? Eh.. I really didn't like that show no matter how much I mark for the X-Men. Try to steal the thunder of the Fox's original X-Men cartoon? Ugh.
Guest Big McLargeHuge Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 Steal thunder? okay. Was it cancelled or what? And you can always catch old X-Men eps on Fox Family. Though that may change.
Guest kane3212321 Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 What about Ultimate Muscle, who is supposedly taking on evil wrestling villians, now I wonder if McMahon will steal sotrylines from that
Guest Blue Bacchus Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 Doesn't anyone remember those pink pvc toys called MuscleMen from the 80s?!? They're back in Ultimate Muscle! Yeah it's like the 80s are back to stay for a while now... And what's wrong with dressing up as Crocket or Tubbs?
Guest El Satanico Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 Yeah it's like the 80s are back to stay for a while now... And what's wrong with dressing up as Crocket or Tubbs? Well i could really care less about what the guys do. I just don't wanna see the ladies bringing back the hideous 80's clothes and hair.
Guest Redhawk Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 I'm glad the animation looks more old-school and not all modern like the CRAPPY-ASS cartoons of today (which warrants a thread of its own -- I mean our cartoons were so much better...). Does anyone remember the words to the TMNT cartoon theme song?
Guest CED Ordonez Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 Does anyone remember the words to the TMNT cartoon theme song? To the best of my knowledge *ahem*: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Heroes in a half-shell TURTLE POWER~!! They're the world's most fearsome fighting team They're heroes in a half-shell and they're green When the evil Shredder attacks These turtle boys don't cut him no slack Splinter taught them to be ninja teens Leonardo leads, Donatello does machines Raphael is cool but crude Michelangelo is a party dude! (PARTY~!*does a Spinaroony*) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Heroes in a half shell TURTLE POWER~!!
Guest El Satanico Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 Actually the animation of saturday morning cartoons wasn't all that great in the 80's either. And if you're saying 80's He-Man had better animation then the new version then you're nuts. Also there isn't anything wrong with the animation of the new Transformers it just has some badly designed characters.
Guest Razor Roman Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 I also read on Corona's coming attraction's site (http://corona.bc.ca) that John Woo was going to be supervising production of a CGI-Ninja Turtles move to be produced by Digital Rim studios (how cool would that be? Imagine the awesome CGI stuff Spiderman could do and multiply by 4!)
