I hope it doesn't suck as much as when they tried to do it live, reminded me way too much of the Power Rangers.

 

I remember going to the first two movies in the theatres. I also loved the saturday morning cartoon on CBS. And I had most of the games for the NES, SNES, and loved the Arcade Games. Cowabunga dude!

Yep which happened to be 4Kids Productions who as if this season handled the WBs kids lineup. It's better this way though with 4Kids leaving the WB, the WB can fully convert saturday morning into a Toonami block.

I'm pissed about this Fox Box crap because I wanted Digimon: Frontier to be on Fox when it aired since if I missed it, I could catch the west feed 3 hours later.... DAMMIT!

 

Oh, and the Kirby show had already been made for a while(it's anime) and the ONLY decent looking show out this Fox Box looks to be that Stargate show.

I just checked out that preview site and man... they drew the Turtles kinda lazily. No muscle definition at all, but still, they look pretty good. Hopefully the show will be darker than the original(which would kick ass).

There's a big write-up in the most recent Toyfare not only about Turtles, but the whole "retro resurgence" in cartoons and toys. From what I've gathered, the new cartoon will be a little truer to the original comic version of the Turtles. And no, Venus DeMilo will NOT be back, thank God.

 

Funny how that "new Turtles" video is currently sitting on a shelf in my local Wal-Mart...

Actually the animation of saturday morning cartoons wasn't all that great in the 80's either.

 

And if you're saying 80's He-Man had better animation then the new version then you're nuts.

 

Also there isn't anything wrong with the animation of the new Transformers it just has some badly designed characters.

that John Woo was going to be supervising production of a CGI-Ninja Turtles move to be produced by Digital Rim studios (how cool would that be? Imagine the awesome CGI stuff Spiderman could do and multiply by 4!)
