Guest notJames Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 Leave it to the New York Post to be one of the first to cover this "story". (credit 411wrestling) I found this part kinda interesting: Gay-rights groups, which protested against at least three gay-seeming wrestlers during the 1990s, appear to like Billy and Chuck. Scott Seomin, a spokesman for the Gay and Lesbian Alliance against Defamation, told a reporter they are an improvement on their predecessors. Nice to known that even if this angle's heading for WrestleCrap, it's not ruffling the feathers of GLAAD.

Guest notJames Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 Maybe Vice'll finally "push" billy..... God knows Pat would... I think "thrust" would be a more appropriate word...
Guest papacita Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 Maybe Vice'll finally "push" billy..... God knows Pat would... I think "thrust" would be a more appropriate word... EW!
Guest The Ruthless Aggressor Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 Well that's weird. I thought they would hate the gimmick since it's so ridiculous and stereotypical.
Guest TheArchiteck Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 Damn, I know Chuck and Billy are pretty uncomfortable with this whole thing. This could really effect their future careers and relationships in the long run. You know how people tend to beleive deeply in a person's character.

Guest Insane Bump Machine Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 Well that's weird. I thought they would hate the gimmick since it's so ridiculous and stereotypical. Why is it stereotypical? Apart from having a hair stylist as their manager, of course. But that's the only thing I consider stereotypical about them.
Guest TheRockIsTheEuropeanChampion Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 Yeah. I mean, uhm, they lack a good fashion sense. That goes against one stereotype. (*cries about Chuck's hair*)
Guest Choken One Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 I'm not shocked...With today's liberal Media...They view this as a Another close step and of course Friday...they'll bitch when it's a swerve to bring Ventura back.

I'm allowed to make assumptions.
Guest Chuck Woolery Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 You know what happens when you assume, though
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 Compared to other gay-gimmicks, this one is downright genius. However, I'm still waiting for the gay man that is a pure and utter badass, and just "one of the guys," but happens to enjoy putting other men's penises in a certain orifice.
Guest Vitamin X Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 And that guy can be Mark Henry or Rikishi!!!
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 Does the NY Post even count as a newspaper?
Guest notJames Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 Does the NY Post even count as a newspaper? NICE~!

Guest notJames Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 Meanwhile, the Post is more of a newspaper than the Times, thank you very much. =b Well, pinch my cheeks shut and call me cultured, but I happen to like the Times a little more than the Post. Of course, they both kick the Daily News's ass six ways to Sunday, but that's pretty obvious... [...sits in easy chair, ready to continue the unending battle to finish just one NYT Sunday crossword puzzle...]
Guest TheArchiteck Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 You know what happens when you assume, though Come on....making assumptions is the american way!
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 Well, pinch my cheeks shut and call me cultured, but I happen to like the Times a little more than the Post. Well, I wouldn't disagree that it has more overall content, I'm just talking about pure news.
Guest deadbeater Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 It got press and people talking. Just what the WWE needs.
