The Spanish Language

Recommended Posts

I have Spanish classes at the moment. Spanish II. Right now.. it's a big thing about a cow.

"Me llamo Bob" beat out "Me llamo Bob el vaco" for my thing.

and he will not like hamburgers.. just music, dancing and some other stuff.

As for his 'no me gusta', I found dandruff in a small dictonary of mine.. he shouldn't like dandruff.

Anyways, any Spanish class stories or stuff you want to say?

I am in Spanish 7-8 this year. Haven't really made myself look like ass cuz I pretty much came from a Spanish speaking country and I know the language pretty well.

I took Spanish back in the 8th grade. NOTHING stuck with me, though I had a really hot teacher.

Let me copy the Cow paragraph for you all.

"Hola, me llamo Bob, soy tengo once anos, soy tres manchas cafe. soy ubres rosa. Soy dos cuerno azul. Soy ojos cafe. Soy pestanos roja. Soy lengua verde. Soy pezunas plateado. Soy cola violeta. Estoy granja. Me gusta la musica and me gusta bailar. No me gusta limonada y no me gusta nadar. Soy inteligente. Soy Guapo"

any quirks in this?

I should end all my papers with 'Soy Guapo'. :)

I took Spanish my junior and senior year in high school. The only things I remember:

Hola.

Donde esta el bano

Yo soy un liquador

Combined with college I took about 6 years of Spanish. It was really nice when I dated a hispanic girl. Her grandparents were total old school and the fact that there grandaughter hooked up with a white guy didn't really sit well at first. Well when I was able to carry on a half decent conversation with them in Spanish I titally on there respect. I'm going to Mexico this Saturday so I really need to brush up a little.

the correct way of saying this is....

"Hola, me llamo Bob, tengo once aÑos, tengo tres manchas café. Tengo ubres rosas. Tengo dos cuernos azules. Tengo ojos café. Tengo pestañas rojas. Tengo la lengua verda. Tengo las pezuñas plateadas. Tengo la cola violeta. Estoy en una granja. Me gusta la musica y me gusta bailar. No me gusta la limonada y no me gusta nadar. Soy inteligente. Soy guapa"

I took three years of it in high school that were made all the more painful by the lack of a hot Spanish teacher. The amount that I learned is negligible, but I always managed to pass by sitting next to people who knew what they were talking about. Having lived in two foreign countries without picking anything up, I think it's safe to say that Kinetic and other languages don't mix.

I took 3 years of Spanish and luckily got a hot teacher the first year, but after that it was all downhill. Now i can barely remember anything worthwhile from the language.

we were forced to take spanish from kindergarten up until 5th grade.

and of course the only things you remember are the useless phrases and words...i mean..is it really imperative that you remember how to say 'green' in spanish, or cat, cow, dog...etc.?

I took Spanish for two years... my sophomore and junior year. Don't really remember anything that will help me through my life.

Bummer.
