Edge riles up Eddy's Lateeno Heat

At the Washington, DC, Smackdown! event this past weekend, Eddie Guerrero and Edge got into a shoving match behind the curtain following their match, seen by some fans who happened to have seats near the entrance way.

 

Guerrero reportedly yelled at Edge for something that happened during the match, saying "Don't you ever (expletive) do that again." Edge then shoved Guerrero and officials stepped in to separate the two, shutting the curtain for fans that were looking in.

Edge probably no-sold his arm again after all the work Eddy did to hurt it. If I was Eddy and Edge kept no-selling my ring psychology I'd be pissed too. Eddy looks like a million bucks and Edge takes a big dump on it to win a match. Good for Eddy! Teach Edge who's boss.

While I agree he should be upset over his lack of selling, I dont think it requires swearing and shoving. He should have just approached him and talked about it.

I was somewhat joking. It really does piss me off how Edge no-sells a whole match, but I don't condone Eddy going ballistic either.

At the Washington DC event, Edge went one-on-one with Benoit. So, if Eddy was arguing with Edge, it must have had to do with something that happened somewhere else. Either that, or Edge really pissed Eddy off with something he did during the Eddy run-in (which apparently didn't last very long).

Don't want to make any assumptions as to who's at fault here, it could be a misunderstanding or maybe they both f*cked up with their behavior. But I do think this is bad news for Eddie.

 

Even ignoring his history of personal problems, I think he could take the fall for this, if management actually gives a sh*t about the incident. Edge is their golden boy after all. Kind of like when HHH took the fall for the MSG incident because Michaels was champ (but if Eddie can pull a HHH, come back a couple years later, unleash Latino Heat on Stephanie and guilt management into giving him the push of the century, I'm all for it ).

 

Of course, they might overlook this incident completely, as it was minor and no actual fisticuffs appear to have occured.

I'm guessing Edge must've stiffed him or dropped him on his head in a move. They can't afford to de-push Eddy. He, Benoit and Angle are carrying the show.

Eddy got pissed but it was Edge who reacted with the violence. The "inner rage" gimmick was a few years back, but maybe Edge is lobbying for it's return.
