First of all he hasn't been a weapons inspector for over 4 years so what the hell does he know what Iraq has or doesn't have. Second he accepts an invitation by the Iraqi gov't to visit and speak. Who would willing accept an invitation by Saddam Hussein. Third the reason he resigned in the first place was he thought the U.S. wasn't doing enough to stop Hussein. How could someone make a 180 degree turn like that. Well it's pretty obvious Ritter's a glory hog who craves the spotlight. Guest DeputyHawk Report post Posted September 11, 2002 what did 'baghdad scotty' lie about on the machine? his claims about america using the weapons inspections to spy on iraq isn't exactly that far fetched now, is it? underneath all his bluster & desire to hawk his new book, all he basically seems to be saying is that the u.n. should go back in and take another look before declaring war, so wishing death upon him for voicing dissent seems kind of harsh. it is rather foolish to publicly denounce the legitimacy of wmd fear when inspections have gone completely unchecked for four years. how could he possibly know there's no danger? dunno all that much about the man but he seems silly.
