Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted September 10, 2002 I hadn't seen Borga wrestle since 93, and I had thought he was just a joke years later because I forgot how he wrestled. I recently got a copy of Summerslam 93 and I saw Borga. I believe that he was definately a bankable wrestler, a Monster Powerhouse and heel. Who cares that he is Finnish. I know this will probably get moved... But I just wanted to say, If he was still wrestling and was able too I would definately would have the WWE sign up Borga to join the Unamericans. Guest creativename Report post Posted September 10, 2002 You know, while looking for Paul Bearer's column on WWE.com (I'm a big Andre mark, and I heard that there was an anecdote about him in it), I saw another column about Brock Lesnar. This column was wondering if Brock Lesnar really was the "Next Big Thing" or not. And in the column, the writer mentions guys who he thought would be huge, but didn't pan out. He mentions Ultimate Warrior, Luger, Yokozuna I think, a few other guys, and BORGA! Not surprising though, as his gimmick was certified Wrestlecrap material (it was on last month I think). You could have Thesz/Steamboat/Flair/Benoit level talent, and still be a complete failure with a gimmick like that.
