I loved that show so much. Kevin Sorbo was great and the guy who played Iolous (His name is on the tip of my tongue) was hilarious. I never missed an episode. I liked it because not only did it have action but it was funny and managed to mix in a good dose of mythology so you learned stuff.

Anyone else like the show?

I liked it too...

I loved how that everyone but Herc spoke as they would have in that time..while Herc spoke like he was in modern times

It wasn't art...but it was just a fun show

the show was good during its run at weekend syndication. It had funny characters, average fights, average special effect and TNA of the gods.

Simonius the merchant always looking to make the big deal, was funny as a recuring character

Joxier the Great Hero, was one of the funniest sidekicks ever, he eventually move on to being a regular on the Xena show.

The Falafo guy, the gods invented fast food!!!! :comfort:

And Gigante Gonzales was a villian on one of the movies of the week

Hercules and Xena were always good for a laugh, any series created by Sam Raimi that has Ted Raimi and Bruce Campbell in it has to rule

I liked the show.

Cause yeah - any show that regularly features Bruce Campbell is gold in my book!

Alas, R.I.P. to Kevin Smith, aka "Ares".

I liked it as well. It was pretty funny. I miss Bruce Campell's character., the Prince of Thieves. I cannot remember what his name was exactly.

I was quite sad when the show ended when it did, but after seeing Xena go on too long and descend into crappville, I guess it was for the best.

I just saw "Andromeda", the new Sorbo's TV show, funny thing, at the end, one intruder say to him...

"Do I know You? you remind me someone...(or you looks like someone) a mythological guy or something."

Its not 100% accurate, but that was the idea.

Yeah and on the pilot episode one of the characters said, "He's like A Greek God or something"
