Funniest WWF moment

Recommended Posts

Guest Strike Force!

For me, it was an episode of RAW in 1997.

Max Mini, a masked midget, just won his match and went down to the announce table, proceeded to jump on Jerry Lawler's lap and put Lawler's crown on his head. Just the picture of this little masked midget with a crown on his head, sitting on Lawler's lap, amd Lawler's disgusted look just made me bust out laughing. Still, five years later, this brings a huge grin to my face.

Dusty Rhodes WWF vignette where he worked at the Taco Hut. If anyone has that on tape and can post it somewhere and hook me up with it, let me know.

Bobby Heenan's comment about Stu Hart at Survivor Series '93. In the backstage interview Stu was wearing a Detroit Pistons jacket, then when he came out he was wearing a Boston Bruins jacket, so Heenan blurted out that Stu had ripped off another jacket from the pro shop. I found that comment funny and pretty much everything Heenan said about Stu that night.

Edge's birthday party. Christian plays the kazoo and Edge sings his theme song and then Triple H's before getting kicked out. Plus, Edge, Christian, and Kurt Angle wear Teletubbies party hats.

Anytime Vince McMahon tried to dance...more specifically, the Wrestlemania Rage party in 99 and a Flash Funk match in late 96.

Any of Austin's and Angle's skits from 2000 were gold, especially the "Hero/Jackass" Stuff

There was this one match I just recently download which was Chris Jericho vs. Juventud Guerrera in a Title vs. Mask match. Jericho's antics in that match made me laugh my ass out, like when Jericho wouldn't take off the belt or when Y2J was purposely trying to get counted out. Eddie Guerrero last week on SD got me laughing too when he realised Edge, Rikishi and UT were behind him. There are a whole bunch of incidents like this that made me laugh too, but I just can't remember the others right now.

Agreed. The interaction between Austin and Angle was just gold. <sigh> I long for those days again. -_-

I always found the Raw segment from Summer of 1993 where Jerry Lawler tormented Stu/Helen Hart at The Manhattan Center Hilarious!!! Lawler making fun of the way Stu speaks was just wrong, BUT you couldn't help but to spit out your drink in laughter. Plus, when Stu would try to make a point, Lawler would just ignore him and insult them some more. Funny Stuff!

But the Austin/Angle stuff isn't far behind. The WWF Video, WWF Action is worth it just for their skits.

I liked when Mick Foley, after winning the title, decided to buy Max Mini for his kids.

Also, The Bossman/Al Snow "Eat Pepper" skit was sooo fucking hillarious. Halfway through, Bossman busts up laughing...but it all began with Al Snow having a chair stuck to his ass.

If anyone can point me to where I can download that...I'll be in their eternal gratitude.

I don't know why, but Hogan getting dragged behind Undertaker's bike was the funniest thing I've seen in wrestling. Maybe it was because of Hogan's helmet?

When Coach asked Raven why he was fighting Big Show, Raven gave a long, detailed reason about climbing up the ladder of something or something and Coach asked 'isn't it just because Vince forced you into the match?' and Raven just gave a very annoyed 'I-....yes' and stormed off

His delivery of that 'yes' was just too funny

when the Rock tried to hit Mankind in the head with a chair, but it bounced off the ropes and hit him.

pretty much any BookDust skit ......

Jericho in WCW...everytime:

- when he did Goldberg's entrance and got lost backstage....

- the 1004 moves list...#654 RIGHT armBarr....

- his little antics during matches, like trying to get counted out, DQ'ed, etc....kinda like what he did to the Big Show on RAW....

- That move he used to do were he put the ring steps and started yelling "haaaaa! haaaaaaa!" and catapulted of the steps into the opponent....

- there was this match he had with Juventud Guerrera on Nitro, that he won with the liontamer when Juventud passed out....and then he saw him laying there and was like "oh my god! oh my god! i killed Juvi"

..........and the KAZOO~!!

Don't forget Jericho introducing all the cruisers for the #1 Contender battle royal at Slamboree. He had some classic intros like:

"We have, Damien. He can't afford a mask, he's using paint, but sooner or later, he'll buy a mask, I garuntee it!"

"This guy is Silver King, if he wins 12 more matches, he'll be upgraded to Golden King!"

Kurt Angle: I know, I'll give you some money, and you can buy a Kurt Angle: You Lack Intensity teeshirt. And you can keep the change, and buy yourself some tacos. You like tacos, don't you?

Essa Rios:....

[later in the show]

Kurt Angle: Wait, you didn't take the money and go buy some tequila too, did you? Shame..

Essa Rios: I...want...you....in...ring

Dear lord, I was laughing through the rest of the show.

All Austin/Angle/Vince segments were gold. All Foley/Edge/Christian were gold.

Edge: Mick can you beileve this? We're the WWF tag team champions, and we have to share a locker room with the rest of the boys!

Christian: Yeah, I saw the Rock had his own dressing room, how about getting us our own dressing room?

Mick: You know guys, I happen to be a 3 time WWF Champion, and a hardcore legend, and I never had my own dressing room.

Edge: Well, Mick, you never change your clothes.

Christian: Yeah, you usually just wrestle in what you're wearing.

Mick:That's a good point.

The WCW version of Chris Jericho may be the biggest thing I miss about Nitro...

...and he's probably one of the top ten characters I've ever seen in wrestling.

on the same Battle Royal...

"Next from blah blah.....this guy is Johnny..Schider?....Johnny Sw..Swinger....have u ever heard of this guy? i haven't.....0 to 0 chances of winning, no chance"

 oh yeah he also introduced them wearing the "maji-maji" that he was wearing since beating Prince Iaukea

.....and i remember when Los Conquista-Hardyz defeated E&C for the titles at Raw, and Foley came out and said..."Holly BustaPALOOZA~"

 good times.....

After Kurt won the King of the Ring...talking to Taka and Funaki

KURT: "I am the WWF king of the ring...that's the equal to your emperor, warlord, or head ninja."

AUSTIN: *telling Tajiri his problem with Vince*

TAJIRI: "*Some Japanese talk*"

AUSTIN: "You're a very wise man, Tajiri."

Then later Austin to Vince

AUSTIN: You know what?! Tajiri was right!"

AND I CANNOT FORGET THE FUNNIEST MOMENT OF ALL TIME

Jeff Jarrett hitting Moolah with the guitar...I almost pissed myself with laughter.

During the Putski/Lawler feud back in 1997 on an episode of Raw. Prior to the match (Ivan?) Putski was in the ring, saying a bunch of stuff and then finally raising his fist into the air and shouts "POLISH POWER!". Jerry Lawler then immediately clobbers him from behind, taking him down. I guess the irony of the situation is what made it seem so funny to me.

Okerlund's "FUCK IT!!!" blooper from SummerSlam '89 was hilarious.

I also found the interview segment with The Undertaker, Paul Bearer and Regis Philbin at WM VII quite funny.

- Around 1999 during the Houdini Of Hardcore angle. Crash was so tired after all those title defenses that he needed sleep. So he went to the APA offices and paid them off so he could sleep safely without fear of being attacked. Suddenly, GASP, the APA were out of beer and so they left to procure some. Gerald Brisco tip-toed in with a referee, pinned the sleeping Crash with a finger and won the belt.

Later on, Crash comes storming in the APA office, fuming, and gives Bradshaw a good tongue lashing about not doing their jobs. Camera pans over to Bradshaw ... and he has the most HILARIOUS bewildered look on his face, with cigar hanging off his mouth.

- The ever classic Vince McMahon getting attacked by Doctor Austin in his hospital room. Vince's expression as soon as he heard "Oh, I'll take it from here, nurse." was historic, with the ensuing "NOO!! OH GOD, NO!!" following. :)

- The "Wind Beneath My Ring" segment. The height of Stephanie's comedic performances. If such a thing exists.

- The old DX parodies of the Nation and the Corporation.

- Hell, any involvment by Jason Sensation.

There's so many that I can't remember.
