Guest Quik Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 Allright, RVD gets heat for stiffing guys when he first comes into the WWE. Rosie and Jamal are stiffing women pretty consistantly, and Jamal broke one of the lezbo's ribs with a royally stiff kick last nite. Not to mention the fact that they hold nothing back on their Big Fat-Fuck Splashes. Bad enough they're working stiff to look better, but on women? Fuck that They haven't even wrestled a match and I'm sick of the Island Boyz. But what pisses me off more is that there seems to be no punishment for their stiff shots. Man, at least when the Dudleyz used Mae and Moolah to get over, Bubba didn't try to injure her to further himself.
Guest Nevermortal Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 In their defense, I think they are being told to go excessively stiff, because no trained wrestler would ever work that stiff on a person unprovoked...right...right?

Guest godthedog Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 if they're being so stiff, shouldn't the island boys have broken mae & moolah in half a month ago? i think this was a fluke.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 I believe they most likely had some in-ring training since they work for Ultimate Pro Wrestling. But, yeah, the kick looked *nasty* Note: I got the UPW info from CRZ's Raw report. EDIT: looks like I was beaten to the punch on ID'ing them...
Guest evilhomer Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 They may be told to work stiff but there's a time and place for it. A chop to the chest of a Bubba Ray type body, hard as you want; a body splash to an 80 year old 90 pound woman, show a bit of discretion and caution. When the Dudleys did there power bomb spots, Bubba landed totally on his ass so the women wouldn't have felt much. There's ways to do those splash spots so they look and sound devastating but don't do much damage.

Because its highly unlikely that someone with no wrestling school experience would be in WWE. The Hardyz & their bretheren being their exception.
Rob E Dangerously Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 Those fucking Samoans are gonna get woken up quick to what happens when you stiff a guy when they face some angry motherfucker like Bradshaw. Don't bet against Bradshaw pasting them if they stiff him. That'd be fun to watch.
Guest Ravenbomb Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 yeah, anybody know someplace that sells OMEGA stuff?
Guest RenegadeX28 Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 Man, that kick had stiff written all over it...I thought her rib broke......
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 a body splash to an 80 year old 90 pound woman, show a bit of discretion and caution. I haven't heard anything about Mae/Moolah being hurt from the splash, so where did that come from?
Guest Brian Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 Search for the old Hardy Boyz comps. There's like seven of them.
Guest Nater Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 Were the lesbians complaining? Have any of the Island Boys "victims" been complaining? I think that both sides know how things are gonna turn out..
Guest snowfan Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 TNN unhappy with Raw by Dave Meltzer [email protected] TNN issued a statement earlier today concerning the content of last night's Raw show, not defending its product at all. "TNN takes serious issue with the content of Monday night's WWE RAW episode, and has expressed its deep concern to the WWE. We don't condone the content of this episode, and will work diligently to ensure that similar occurrences do not appear again on our network." TNN issued the statement before ratings for the show came out. Good work Vince... GENIUS booking.

Guest TheArchiteck Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 Vince better not mess around and have Raw looking for a new home.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 Somebody's in trouble. He'll have to read his ratings quietly. OH NOES.

I wonder if a show can get booted by the network for not just offensive content but for you know, being f'n stupid. The whole HLA fiasco was nearly on the previously thought unattainable levels of the "Vince McMahon kiss my ass club" and Mae Young giving birth to the hand.
Guest Prime Time Andrew Doyle Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 and Mae Young giving birth to the hand. Didn't that happen when they were still on USA Network?
