Recently a big incident over something very petty took place at an independant wrestling show involving Low Ki and Tammy Sytch.

Apparently Tammy Sytch was mad that Low Ki had taken the seat she was sitting in. Low Ki looked at Sytch then turned around pretty much making it clear that he was ignoring her. Sytch reportedly took off her shoe and hit Low Ki in the back with it causing a pretty big verbal confrontation. Chris Candido entered the scene to talk to Low Ki. Low Ki told Candido that he respected him, but he needs to keep his woman in check. This lead to another big verbal scene where wrestlers had to get between Candido/Sytch and Low Ki. This time around it has been said that Low Ki threw a chair at Tammy Sytch that luckily didn't hit her.

Most wrestlers feel Low Ki was the wrong one in the situation as it is somewhat of an unwritten rule that wrestlers give up their seats to women if they were sitting in them first. It goes back to respecting the veterans of the business if a person who has been in the business as long as Sytch tells someone who has only been in a few years such as Low Ki that she was sitting in the chair first.

Wrestlers say Low Ki is infamous for blowing up and causing scenes like this but promoters never do anything about it as he is considered one of the biggest independant wrestlers in the country at the moment.

Ya know, I'm all for chivalry and all, but this unwritten code about respecting people who have been in the business longer seems like bunk when applied to this situation. I don't claim to know who was wrong or right, and I really don't care. They're adults, so they should act like it. The "you took my seat!" crap should end once you reach a certain age for crying out loud.

I don't care what happened...Candido is crazy.

He could have been ripped apart.

it was at a wrestling show? were there specified seats with the tickets like a concert or was it like a theatre? If it was the latter then I'll have to side with Low-Ki here, but I'm on the fence about throwing the chair.

and what chair did he throw? Was it the one that he was sitting in, and apparently she was sitting in before?

I'd assume it happened in the locker room or somewhere similar.

Hey, if Low-Ki took her seat, refused to give it back, and disrespected her, he shouldn't have been surprised at anything that happened to him.

Here's something I've never gotten about Low-Ki,

He's so proud of his "Japanese style" of wrestling, but he hasn't even competed in Japan yet (although Meltzer says he is debuting over there soon.)

I love his work, but there is something about him that seems a little "off."

I have heard though, that most of the other Ring of Honor dudes are super nice guys (Red, Maximos, Briscoes, Da Hit Squad especially.)

Maybe that was the only seat that Tammy's ass would fit in.

I would guess the snub of Tammy by Low Ki was the bigger issue than the seat.Disrespect towards a veteran and a woman.

Man I wish these people would remember highschool ended for them like years ago.

Big hoopla over nothing other then Ki being a mild ass. He was sitting and probably doing something. I mean you come into a room and theres an empty seat, you really dont think about someone who sat there 5 minutes ago.

Yikes. Seriously, Candido really should be watching who he's jumping on there. He is bigger than Low Ki but Ki is a legit martial artist, and i've seen the guy put his hand through a steel chair. Think i'd just slowly back out of the room and let Tammy die if i was him.

Oh, come on. Candido has been everywhere from ECW to Japan, has been wrestling for well over a decade, and certainly knows plenty of tricks by now. You have to, to be a respected veteran like him. I doubt that Low-Ki would kill him as easily as you guys expect.

I suggest a quick game of musical chairs to settle this.

Ok, i'll just say this, i have an incredible amount of chivalry, and would always give up my seat for a woman

Maybe 'ki should have been a little more thoughtful, thats all

Sytch is so fat she probably needs two seats now. Or one seat for her and one for her crack. :shotgun:

Yes that was uncalled for, but it was fun.

Earlier today I reported a story regarding a controversial incident between Low Ki and Tammy Sytch/Chris Candido at a USA Pro Wrestling independant show.

From what I was originally told, Low Ki instigated the confrontation. However, since then I have been informed by several people who were backstage and witnessed the confrontation sent in notes basically informing me that Low Ki should not be at fault, as Tammy Sytch made several rude comments. One that appeared in pretty much every e-mail submission went along the lines of, "get out of my chair green boy."

Most insisted that Low Ki was very down to earth about the situation, at first, pretty much trying to avoid a confrontation, but was pushed well over the line.

For those who didn't read the original report, basically the entire incident was over Low Ki sitting in Tammy Sytch's chair. Sytch made several unnecessary comments, took her shoe off and hit Low Ki with it. Candido then confronted Low Ki and reports claim Low Ki put him in a choke, told him he respected him, but to keep his woman "in check".

What the hell does green boy mean? Does crack make you see people as green?

guess in Tammy's shrunked via drugs mind unless you went through WWF WCW ECW at one point of your career, evidently your Not a true wrestler.

Lets face it. Low Ki is a prick. He has a reputation of being an asshole backstage (refusing to job etc.). He is believing his own (overrated) hype, and thinks he is someone (regardless of never acheiving anything). Realistically, If you sit in a womens chair and she asks for it back, why not give it her? why be a dick about it? I have no respect for Low Ki as a man, and I am not a big fan of his work in the ring.

Tammy/Chris are another story entirely... :(

Hmm I quite fancy a go at this "throw chairs at the crack whore" game

Nothing surprises me with wrestlers anymore it seems that being an asshole is an essential requirement for breaking into the business at times and it's kinda sad really

So, let's see...

LowKi has a reputation of being a prick, meaning that he's only been a prick on a few occasions and rumors just spread. That's how reps start...

I'm siding with Ki on this one. Not only because I'm a LowKi mark, but also because it's just downright stupid to assume that a guy that sits down should get out of the seat just because you tell him it was yours originally, being a female or not.

I like Low-Ki's work very much.

That said, I CAN believe it if someone tells me he's a huge prick backstage. He just seems like the type of guy who might be.

And really, if he is or does start to cop an attitude, I'd enjoy one of the boys giving him a little attitude adjustment in the ring.

Still, though.....should we care about this story? It's not like he laid a hand on Goldilocks. He bitched out a crack whore. That makes him a face in my book.
