Early MOTYC

Recommended Posts

I haven't heard from any of the reports of any early MOTYC from Japan or Mexico. Has anyone seen or heard of ny matches that are supposed to blow you away. I was not exposed to some great Japanese matches until after the voting for the MOTY. This year I want to stay ahead of the game. Thanks!!!

Momoe Nakanishi and Kumiko Maekawa had a 41 min. match yesterday that was reported as a MOTY performance.

1/4/02 Liger/Sasuke/TM v Gedo/Jado/Togo

- not a MOTYC but another **** Junior tag that features 5 of the best Juniors in the History of Junior Wrestling in Japan.

Also have heard good stuff about the 12/9/01 Takaiwa v Marifuji NOAH match as well as the 2/16/02 Liger/Inoue v Kikuchi/Kanemaru NOAH match.

Can't wait to see Maekawa v Nakanishi from Yesturday.

Tim

People from the 10/24 AJW show last year said the 60-min. draw between them was that good, too, which it wasn't.  Maybe with a finish, it'd improve, but I spent a lot of time in that match thinking, "OK, when are they going to realize they're doing the same things over and over?"  I'd look towards the Toyota/Ito match with as much anticipation as Maekawa/Momoe.
