Guest DragonflyKid Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 I love the new Jack in the Box commercials where "Jack" meets ordinary people like Ronald McDonald, Wendy and Jarrod from Subway and gets their positive takes on JITB hamburgers. I dislike the $6.00 burger commercials because I would rather get 8 McDonald's hamburgers for one $4.00 hamburger. I haven't had the $6.00 burger from Carl's Junior yet but I have had "$6.00" restaurant burgers and I prefer fast food burgers. Paying more doesn't mean better taste IMO. I don't like KFC's George Alexander commercials, he talks about burgers being of low quality, well I went to KFC's yesterday to try the popcorn chicken and the pieces were small. I was expecting big pieces of chicken only to be disappointed. I couls get better popcorn chicken at the local IGA deli. Fuck Jarrod from Subway. Die you motherfucker along with the Dell boy.

You like McDonalds' burgers? Maybe it's just the McDonalds here, but.. Every time I go there, it's like the worst burger ever. Just flat, tasteless meat. Terrible. I prefer homemade burgers over any others. ... Bleech. Their chicken sandwiches are good, at least. I like Quizno's ads. They just amuse me.

I like the Quiznos' commercials, too. It's a shame that all of those are lost on the East coast.

You know, I remember a few years back Shaq did commercials for Taco Bell. Now it was recently with BK with that stupid Shaft theme. Guest DerangedHermit Posted September 14, 2002 Report Posted September 14, 2002 Good ones: - Quizno's - pre-2000 Taco Bell commercials, in the early '90's they had one with MC HAMMER~!!!!, 1995-ish; the ones with Shaq and Hakeem Olajuwon, and then the chihuahua ones - Wendy's - the Pizza-Face one for Pizza Hut -- sure, he WAS a Mr. Bill clone made of pizza; also the recent Pizza Hut ones with the guy grabbing the pizza and getting the very hard crust. In the series of commercials, he uses the crust as a hoop for his dog and he throws it like a discus out his window, breaking it. - Chili's - w/ N-Sync, it's always great when somebody from N-Sync gets crushed by a huge box Bad Ones: - McDonald's (especially the Chicken Selects and the Mighty Wings, which were less meatier than a West African chicken) -BK (how many ways can you say HAVE IT YOUR WAY?!?!?!?!?)

I like the 99 cent BK ones with Carolla too. I'm Mexican and I never had a problem with the content of the Taco Bell commercials. I did get tired of that damn dog showing up every commercial break. Quizno's TV ones are all right, but their "Unfair Matchup" radio commercials kick ass. Hate the Jason Alexander/KFC commercials. But that's mostly cause I think Jason Alexander sucks hard and is lucky that he got a spot on Seinfeld to save his career. Hate the Six Dollar Burger. I guess I am not a real man because I prefer to buy a combo for $5 rather than one burger for $6.

Nothing makes me lose my appetite faster than people eating sloppily and loudly. The dude eating his burger and washing his mouth out with listerine says it all.
