It is one year since the largest terrorist attack against the United States, and I wrote an article about it last night and this morning. I think it's the first politically-themed article to make the front page at TSM, and considering the theme, I hope it's the last for a while. Since this is Current Events, I feel this is an appropriate place to post the link. Leave feedback and discuss if you want, but I'm not really going to ask for it. Guest DeputyHawk Report post Posted September 12, 2002 good article, admirably restrained & clear-headed while retaining its emotional wallop. the aftermath of deposing hussein from power will indeed be all-important. for any 'nation building' to have any chance of succeding, it must have the support of the people. i truly hope there will be celebration on the streets of baghdad, for if there is not the hatred will continue to simmer until it grows a new head.
