Guest nikowwf Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 Do you think interest in the NWA is waning? It seems like a lot less people post here than there used to be. Niko
Guest swan Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 Well if the WWE took a few weeks off I bet traffic would drop off in there as well.
Guest JHawk Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 Yeah, i think it's the fact that it's been two weeks since they've had a new show. Not much new to talk about. It'll pick up once bps has next week's preview up
Guest swan Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 jhawk did you write for the Big3 Newsboard a few years back?
Guest Trivia247 Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 Its hard to maintain stable angles when its once a week shows. With the Shows being the ppvs themselves its like Start ups and Conclusions of feuds either take to long or is too short. Plus you got NWA's Open door policy where they don't have a stable roster.. People like Ken Shamrock Sabu and others you see here and there then disappears. those who left are the maystays and Work Horses of the Promotion. sooner or later it will probably be revealed that the Masked Bullet will be the Roaddogg, at least thats how it looks by the guy's moves and mannerism...and sad to say thats probably the biggest Highlight out of NWA outside their few member X Division.
Guest eirejmcmahon Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 There's only so much that can be said about the three way X-Division feud. Outside of that, there's nothing of real interest in NWATNA at the moment (for me, anyway). Ok, it'll also be interesting to see if Killings can pull of a hot match.
Guest DARRYLXWF Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 Count me in as one who doesn't come here as much. Instead of finding an alternative to the WWE, I've just stopped watching as much wrestling.
Guest converge241 Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 i dropped off awhile ago. too many dropped angles (bad or good they should have a payoff) very little character development/motivation (outside of Killings). Ring Of Honor, on one house show, without never seeing a TV show, had more established charaters that NWATNA can have weekly, and better in ring quality and less, much less, crap. I hope they still somehow succeed , and if they go full throttle with the X division ill try it again
Guest Ravenbomb Posted September 13, 2002 Report Posted September 13, 2002 I got my fix of NWATNA when I ordered weeks 10 11 and 12, I'm fine for now.
Guest converge241 Posted September 13, 2002 Report Posted September 13, 2002 Im going to give it a chance again this Wednesday, but at the same time am not too excited about it.
Guest DJ Jeff Posted September 14, 2002 Report Posted September 14, 2002 Where do you guys order NWA:TNA from?
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted September 14, 2002 Report Posted September 14, 2002 If Raw is about porno and lesbians for the second week in a row, I'm going to just drop Raw from my weekly viewing schedule and watch only this and SD on a weekly basis.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted September 14, 2002 Report Posted September 14, 2002 I already dropped SD!. If RVD goes back to having nothing to do after he returns the job to HHH at the ppv...Raw will take a back seat to Football.
