Rob E Dangerously Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 Who would you like to replace Bradshaw in the Unamericans/Americans feud? If he was healthy now, Sean O'Haire could make a good replacement. He could have tights with a psycho red/white/blue combo and he can be the psychotic-looking American. Since he is out for the moment (I think).. how about Shelton Benjamin? Maybe we'll get better matches out of a Kane/Big Ben (Shelton) v. Regal/Test. Just give Regal and Ben some time, Test comes in, Ben plays 'Ricky Morton' to them, tag to Kane, Kane clears the place a bit. Go from there.
Guest Brian Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 Nowinski is the perfect choice but he's done too well as a heel. Bring the Benjamin love people.
Guest Zack Malibu Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 I'm in full support of a Shelton Benjamin push.
Guest BionicRedneck Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 I'm sorry, but I couldn't give a fudge. O'Haire, Benjamin seem good enough choices to me. Or maybe Cena will jump, It'll give him something to do.
Guest DJ Jeff Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 Hmmmmm....This is a bit tough to decide. I would say the Undertaker, but he's on Smackdown so that wouldn't work. Maybe Bubba Ray could be thrown in to replace Bradshaw, or maybe Flair. I hope Bradshaw isn't injured too long.
Guest Brian Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 If Benjaminm is on RAW, I might start watching.
Guest BionicRedneck Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 Bradshaw is out for 6 months, right? They will probably replace him with Faarooq
Rob E Dangerously Posted September 11, 2002 Author Report Posted September 11, 2002 Tommy "The American" Dreamer? No thanks
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 I think Nowinski would work if they played him up as the unwilling member/tweener of the group, who doesn't like the other guys but is helping them to get back at Regal.
Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 RAW's looking a little light for a replacement here - I'd say maybe Spike or D'Lo? Looking at SmackDown! - Hardcore Holly, Batista, or Cena could be a good choice. Mind you, don't bet against Vince bringing back the Bossman in his old 80's 'serve and protect' gear. *shudders*
Guest BoboBrazil Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 Spoiler: Rico, I can just imagine the promos involving him, Booker T, and Goldust now
Guest bob_barron Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 Dreamer would be perfect, I mean he's over with the crowd and could play face-in-peril while hot tagging Kane and Book
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 Johnny the Bull. Hey, he hasn't been mentioned yet, and has put on some good performances on Heat (IMO). Only problem is that, except for his 1st Heat match, they've booked him as a heel. Can't possibly be any worse than Bradshaw.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 The Big Show! Big Show and Kane! Bah! On second thought, no, not Big Show. Id go with Bubba or Nowinski. With Nowinski they have the buildup that he used to be a friend of Regal and Regal sorta turned on him. Nowinski is the best storyline choice.
Guest Zero_Cool Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 They should book War Games for Unforgiven, next Monday, but for a swerve, they stick Nowinski with the faces like we said. He has enough charisma to pull off the tweener act, in my opinion. All we need is for them to play up the fact that Nowinski is a son of a bitch, and pitch the idea that he might turn on Bookdust and Kane at the PPV. In that match, have Chris get killed. I'm talking blood, and lots of it. The faces win the blow-off, and in the ring the four of them celebrate, but not Nowinski, as he just got the hell beat out of him. I say he gives Booker a hard slap across the face and walks out, leaving the faces pissed off. You elevate Nowinski into a credible mid card heel, and you give Booker something to work with for the next month. They both have good mike skills, which can make for some good verbal sparring between the two. *sings "Elevation" by U2*
Guest BlackRainbow1025 Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 Geez, I don't know if anyone could ever replace Bradshaw.........who will get the cheap patriotic pops or the cheap Texas pops for the team? Sheldon's got my vote, I enjoy his Heat matches quite a bit actually. If it has to be a hoss........well, my vote is for Mike Awesome, despite being on SD!. Edit: When's Maven come back? Maven could show up to help the faces......only to have Nowinski come out and beat the hell out of him, joining his mentor, turning his back on the "stupid" Americans, and getting revenge for being beaten in TE1.
Guest jester Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 Since Kane already beat the tag champions clean, why do they need a replacement? Bookdust handles Regal and Test, Kane takes Lance and Christian.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 Bubba Ray is probably the best Idea - but he'll take a step back when HHH beats him - so it won't make the Americans look all that strong (not saying that Bradshaw did) - but he has the promo ability to pull it off and the fan support - then you can have Trish turn on him.
Guest Trivia247 Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 Send Booker T into a Singles match and Send Goldust with Kane in a tag
Guest Ravenbomb Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 Jeff Hardy? They could always steal someone from NWA like Malice or something
Guest converge241 Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 Benjamin needs to go to Smackdown and be a Lesnar cohort, then of course turn face for a match down the line. Id love to see Ohaire in there
