Guest Tyler McClelland Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 Haha, Marney, isn't that kinda illegal to be reading people's files to a group of random people on the internet?
Guest Cancer Marney Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 All the information I cited is a matter of public record. I just mentioned I looked up his file; I didn't share anything from it. I don't do anything illegal because I like my job and I want to keep it. Also, see decision 96-04256 United States Bankruptcy Court, Pensacola, Florida division (06/05/96). "The IRS records reflect that notwithstanding his earning of income during the years in question, the debtor has failed to file any federal income tax returns for those tax years for which the IRS has filed its proof of claim. Furthermore, the IRS has no record of the debtor ever having filed a federal income tax return..." Funny stuff.
Guest Tyler McClelland Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 Excellent, in that case, carry on. *sits back and eats popcorn* This should be a good one.
Guest RobJohnstone Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 "Dr" Kent Hovind has a fraudulent and meaningless degree from a non-accredited degree mill called "Patriot University." He is also a documented liar (among other things, he claims light is slowing down, and he has filed false documents under oath before bankruptcy courts, not once but numerous times) and we have indicted him just this month for felony tax fraud. He also has an extensive FBI file which I'm reading right now. It's rather amusing. In short, Hovind is not a good source to use when you're trying to shore up your credibility. Feel free to try again, though. This is fun. I don't know, he is using news sources in his research. I am sure the tax evasion you are speaking of is him exercising his right to his straw man. Th Social security issue is a totally different subject and I don't know all that much about it to argue with you. I do know there is such a thing and the government does not like people to know about it. Get some info about it here http://www.texasrepublic.com/strawman.html isn't it funny this man gathers research to disprove certain said facts and things done wrong by our governemt, and the government is trying to put him in jail. Riiiight --Rob
Guest Cancer Marney Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 Hovind's "research" is worth nothing as he is a proven liar and a fraud. He is an illiterate bum whose opinions on any given subject are driven by a psychopathic desire to be controversial and reactionary. He is furthermore a fundamentalist young-Earth creationist who interprets every word of the Bible as literally true. I have no faith in his critical judgement and I will not waste my time reading let alone refuting his arguments. If you have a point to make, make it. And back it up with a more credible source than a petty cheat and small-time crook.

(example: http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/Temple/9917...ild_hovind.html ) Seriously, get your own opinions. Stop quoting people and using their words for your own. When you can come up with an originally thought out response, not researching people that slander this man because he made them feel stupid, get back to me. All their shit is propaganda, who are these guys who you steal their qoutes from? Thanks --Rob
Guest Cancer Marney Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 Nope. The only thing I quoted was within quote marks, and it was taken from this page; it's a public document, and it's hosted by a site I regularly direct people to. It's amusing that you claim Hovind makes others feel stupid. Every one of his astoundingly dumb creationist arguments has been exhaustively disproven (this page contains a number of examples). But of course none of that makes any difference to you, since you subscribe to his moronic theses as well. Naturally, if he's right about the earth being less than 4000 years old, he must be right about 9/11 as well. One problem: he's wrong about the earth. He's also wrong about 9/11. Suck it up.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 Let me guess, Kennedy wasn't shot by Oswald either. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest RobJohnstone Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 Let me guess, Kennedy wasn't shot by Oswald either. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge great reponse dude. I don't know that much about it, because I wasn't that old. I saw the movie and that magic bullet thing just doesn't fly in my view. Maybe it's just me, but he dies, johnson goes to office and we go into vietnam, the dumbest thing we ever did as a country. Riiight --Rob
Guest Cancer Marney Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 Okay, now I'm just cracking up completely. This is bloody hilarious.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 Good lord, you're saying Kennedy was killed so we could go further into Vietnam? Do you drink the same Kool-Aid as Scott Keith's Biggest Fan? Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge

Suck it up. yes, he is wrong about everything, and you are right. Atleast that's how you make it sound. So it's all one big coincidense? Right, I am not spouting this out as fact, I am just saying I believe what I believe in. There are no facts to support your arguements yet you treat them as such. Your not credible at all, check out people magazine Sept. 24, 2001: People Magazine published eyewitness accounts of the WTC attack and subsequent events. Louie Cacchioli, 51, a firefighter assigned to Engine 47 in Harlem: "We were the first ones in the second tower after the plane struck. On the last trip up a bomb went off. We think there was a bomb set in the building." [People Magazine Sept. 24, 2001] Riiiight. --Rob
Guest Dmann2000 Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 So the world is God's sandbox and pain and torture and death are just experiments? Whatfuckingever. If He can prevent evil, He has a responsibility to do so. Granting people free will doesn't absolve him of responsibility. It's like dumping a bunch of children in a big box with flamethrowers and broken glass, and when they get hurt, saying, "Hey, I didn't do it. They made their own choices." Last I checked God didn't create flamethrowers, or guns or broken glass, or nuclear weapons. And there is always, ALWAYS someone telling us not to use the gun, to do away with the violence....Human's just don't listen. Whatever happens on Earth is OUR fault, and to expect God to clean up for the mess that humans have wrought is egotistical and selfish. I do however present this to atheists: Say someone believes in God, dies and turns out there's no afterlife, well he can't be disappointed because he won't have any recollection after he's dead But say you don't believe in God, die and he does exist. Are you going to be so selfish as to expect him to let you into heaven because he wasn't "the God you expected?" Religious rights AND Atheists are so full of themselves, I dislike both their attitudes

Guest Dmann2000 Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 QUOTE] Are you seriously comparing an inanimate piece of stone with human life? Your metaphor is disgusting, tawdry, and simplistic. Go tell the families of the 3000 who died on 9/11 that God had the right to take their wives, husbands, sons, and daughters from them, so they shouldn't be upset about it. Condescending little fuckheaded prick. Well did it ever occur to you that perhaps anyone who suffers such tragedies in death, perhaps God gives them instant entry into heaven, especially the children. I like to believe that the millions who died at the hands of the Nazi's, and the 3,000 dead on 9-11 were given immediate entry into paradise.
Guest Cancer Marney Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 Last I checked got didn't create flamethrowers, or guns or broken glass, or nuclear weapons. It was a clear metaphor for the human potential for violence. Human's just don't listenVery much agreed. Whatever happens on Earth is OUR faultOnly if there is no God. I hope He exists, but I never allow that hope/belief to influence my behaviour. to expect God to clean up for the mess that humans have wrought is egotistical and selfish.Nope. It's expecting him to live up to His obligation to prune what He planted. Nothing more, nothing less. But say you don't believe in God, die and he does exist. Are you going to be so selfish as to expect him to let you into heaven because he wasn't "the God you expected?"I don't expect God to be petty and childish enough to damn someone to hell for questioning Him. perhaps anyone who suffers such tragedies in death, perhaps God gives them instant entry into heavenA nice belief. But that's all it is. And what does God grant the people the dead leave behind?

But that's all it is. And what does God grant the people the dead leave behind? Well I hope He's able to let the whole "I'll kick his ass thing" slide 2) A Re-union in Heaven with all loved ones lost that will completely erase all years of pain once there. I think that's the toughest thing people have with God. No ones wants to admit that yes, you have to suffer and hit rock bottom even before you're risen up. Remmember Job?
Guest Cancer Marney Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 I hope He's able to let the whole "I'll kick his ass thing" slideWell, if He explains Himself to my satisfaction, I might not have to kick His ass. you have to suffer and hit rock bottom even before you're risen up. Remmember Job?Of course. And Psalms 34:17, and onwards: "The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate. The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate." I just want Him to live up to His promises.
Guest RobJohnstone Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 dmann, once you start quoting the bible here, they just insult you. It's not worth it --Rob
Guest Cancer Marney Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 dmann, once you start quoting the bible here, they just insult you You have the supremely ironic timing of a born patsy, Rob.
Guest Dmann2000 Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 Actually she quoted the Bible, quite good I might add. And Marney, I can understand your anger and conviction, I may not share them, but it's understandable. I hope you get your answers, before you're called up before Him in fact. No one should eventually die with so many questions unanswered
Guest Dmann2000 Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 Hey look at that, talking about God bumped me up to Velocity standings The Lord works in myserious ways

Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 you can't kick his assI can beat the living shit out of anyone, including God. Wait and see. shit, I could whoop ya.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 This has been the best argument with Marney EVER, brought to you by: Agent of Oblivion
