Guest BoboBrazil Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 --While not 100%, the plans for NWA TNA for this coming Wednesday's show is to debut Sean Waltman as Syxx-Pac and for Scott Hall to return. wrestlingobserver.com It will be interesting to see what they do.
Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 My understanding is that WWE allowed him to use the Syxx name. With that in mind, I don't think he'll come out talking crap about WWE.

Even if this isn't 100%, there's still a chance he COULD show up and be a mainstay in the promotion and be allowed to get away with his backstage antics, but I hope not.
Guest Zack Malibu Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 Actually, if Jerry Jarrett keeps them in check, playing Hall and Pac's Clique antics off as part of the Ron Killings "people who hold others down" angle, it could be a good main event storyline.
Guest BoboBrazil Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 Jerry Jarrett won't allow him to do that backstage bullshit like Vince did.
Guest Zack Malibu Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 Jerry Jarrett won't allow him to do that backstage bullshit like Vince did. That's what I'm referring to. Behind the scenes, keep him in check, but since the NWA is catering to smarks and marks alike, playing off his checkered past as a locker room menace would make him into a good foil for Killings.
Guest MrRant Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 BWAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAH sorry... I just had to.
Guest Tony149 Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 I read that as part of Waltman leaving WWE, WWE let him buy the rights to the "Syxx-Pac" name.
Guest the 1inch punch Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 Him and Hall are gonna win the tag belts, obviously, thus holding down the Backseat Boyz DAMMIT
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 I hate to say it... well...no I don't... but Pac and Hall aren't nearly as bad when Nash isn't around. Pac would still be in the WWE if Nash hadn't gotten injured...and he started being a real bitch when Nash was there to get his back. Hall was supposedly great backstage for TNA previously... So I still blame Nash. That said... they had better be stuck in the tag division... although... I'd be lying if I didn't say I had some interest in a Hall program for the NWA title someday...since he has never won a companies top title.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted September 13, 2002 Report Posted September 13, 2002 I agree with bps. Nash has done more damage to North American wrestling than anybody. With him gone, Pac's influence is greatly diminished. If he does keep it up, at least we'll get to see something obscene before he goes likely, such as Low-Ki stiffing the hell out of him. =b Also, I'm happy to hear Hall finally has his life in order. Hope he can keep it up.
Guest The Notorious CRD Posted September 13, 2002 Report Posted September 13, 2002 Watman and Hall can be good for NWA TNA, and I hope they are. Wouldn't it be interesting for them to play Hall as the "I'm just trying to get my life in order" face with Waltman playing the "C'mon, man, we can own this place" heel? I would seriously love to see them go that route as it plays off both men's reputations. That's just my 2¢ though.
Guest eirejmcmahon Posted September 13, 2002 Report Posted September 13, 2002 Hall and X-Pac have had nothing to offer for years, this looks like a tragic step back for NWATNA.

NWATNA should have a bright future! One of Joe Sixpacks who aren't part of the 'Net Wrestling scene staring at their TVs and saying "AJ Styles? Low-Ki? The Truth? Who the hell are these guys? Why would I want to PAY to see them?" and watching something else instead! [/sarcasm]
Rob E Dangerously Posted September 13, 2002 Report Posted September 13, 2002 so.. did Suxx-Pac buy the rights to wear a 6 ball t-shirt like he did in WCW??
