They are still trying to push Bradshaw. Bleh.
Guest Rob Edwards Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 Yeah these Hosses do seem to have a long life span. Not sure I'd say HHH is wrestling for the world title tho, mebbes the egofuck title or something

I don't see your point
LaParkaYourCar Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 I hated Unforgiven 99. It had the horrid Kennel from Hell match...the stupid Ref's on strike storyline...and a Main Event that left a lot to be desired.
Guest bob_barron Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 I liked Unforgiven. Then again I'm bound to like any show where Davey main events
Guest papacita Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 I liked Unforgiven too. At that time, I really thought they were gonna push Bulldog to the title. I don't care what anyone says, he was a good heel.
Guest ManKinnd Posted September 13, 2002 Report Posted September 13, 2002 Unforgiven 99 6-pack match was ****1/2 IMHO. Real good stuff from everyone. Other than that it was mostly DUD city.
Guest bob_barron Posted September 13, 2002 Report Posted September 13, 2002 Jarrett v. Chyna was actually a pretty good match. The main event was kick ass as well. Bulldog kicked ass as a heel.
Guest Incandenza Posted September 13, 2002 Report Posted September 13, 2002 Bradshaw didn't even get the pin in that tag match, so....
Guest bob_barron Posted September 13, 2002 Report Posted September 13, 2002 and the APA didn't even win clean
Guest goodhelmet Posted September 13, 2002 Report Posted September 13, 2002 plus bradshaw is out and injured so he shouldn't even be involved in this discussion.
Guest Respect The 'Taker Posted September 13, 2002 Report Posted September 13, 2002 I had my money on Bulldog actually winning the title for that event, i wouldnt have totally resented the thought of Bulldog having the title, allowing someone outside the Kliq to be a Grand Slam winner in the WWF. Triple H sucks...just thought i'd ad that Illusion - Turning virgins into whores since 1985
Guest Machiavelli Posted September 13, 2002 Report Posted September 13, 2002 As far as I remember that wasn't that bad an event, they were about to start Stevie Richards imitating people (but that never went anywhere I know) The Jericho Vs XPac match was pretty cool with an awesome inverted bronco buster but the suck was added by Mr. Hughes (were is HE now?) the Kennel in the Cell would have been alright if the dogs hadn't been able to sense one of their own in the building (Chyna was attempting to get the IC title wasn't she??) But the one thing I recall at that PPV was they were shoving HHH down our throats by having him go over 5 other guys (and even making SCSA count the pin) and then the WWE claims that there was no way to get either Kurt or Jericho over within the next 2 years. Thats the worrying thing about this company will Paul Heyman be the one to take the WWE title off Brock to try and give him Any heat?
Guest the 1inch punch Posted September 13, 2002 Report Posted September 13, 2002 Actually, i loved the Refs on Strike angle
Guest The Tino Standard Posted September 13, 2002 Report Posted September 13, 2002 I thought the "Refs on Strike" angle was kind of stupid at first, but it paid off BEAUTIFULLY in the main event. Seriously, it all came together at that point. Very cool (and a very good match, to boot). Still, tho, the rest of that PPV was God-awful. One match does not a PPV make.
