Guest Strike Force! Report post Posted September 13, 2002 He's listed as questionable, but I was just wondering if any Jets fans have heard on radio, TV, internet, etc. about his possibilities of playing. He's on my fantasy team.
Guest El Hijo Del Lunatic Report post Posted September 13, 2002 And while we're on the subject of injuries, do we know anything about the "probable" James Stewart? 'Cause he was "probable" for a while last week too. LUNATIC - Pimpin' ho's and clockin' a grip like my name was Dolemite.
Guest Strike Force! Report post Posted September 13, 2002 It's just me, but I wouldn't start James Stewart.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted September 13, 2002 Martin will probably start, but they will probably give Jordan alot of carries this week. So if you have a decent backup you'd probably be wise to sit Martin this week.
Guest Strike Force! Report post Posted September 13, 2002 I actually have Jordan as a backup. My other backup is Olandis Gary.
Guest cartman Report post Posted September 13, 2002 Martin is Questionable for Sunday at this point I believe. Kinda hard to come right back and try to run against a run stuffing D this week after spraining ur ankle. The Jets might want to ease off on using Martin this week just to make sure, because without Martin, the Jets have NO chance...as if they even had one now... Guest Strike Force! Report post Posted September 13, 2002 Yeah, I started Olandis Gary. I'm not happy with Gary and Bettis as my RBs, but I'm playing a guy I didn't expect to beat anyway this weekend.
Guest Army Eye Report post Posted September 13, 2002 I agree, Martin will get the start to keep his streak going, but he won't get a lot of carries, since they'd rather he take it easy and get healthy, and although this is a big divisional game, they also have a very capable backup in Lamont Jordan. Guest El Satanico Report post Posted September 13, 2002 Well John Clayton said that it's likely that Martin will play. But still if you have a decent backup you should use them this week. Even if Martin wasn't going to play at all the Jets would tell the media that he's going to play. The couldn't go into the game letting the opponent know Martin isn't playing. Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted September 13, 2002 Im starting Jordan for my SM league team. Might be a good week for me if Martin sits out, and wont be that bad if Jordan gets some carries.
Guest El Hijo Del Lunatic Report post Posted September 14, 2002 It's just me, but I wouldn't start James Stewart. Actually, I have LaMont Warren, his backup, so ... LUNATIC - Pimpin' ho's and clockin' a grip like my name was Dolemite.
Guest Kingpk Report post Posted September 14, 2002 You know, the weather isn't supposed to be all that great tomorrow, so I wouldn't be surprised if Martin sits.
