Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Report post Posted September 13, 2002 I think I've got it worked out... Bull's once of my guilty pleasures in wrestling and when he came back a few months ago to Velocity I was pleased, moreso when I saw he was winning. Then, in the Hoss Report a few weeks ago, JR said he expected him to get more TV time on SmackDown! soon. Sure enough, he disappeared from Velocity but was nowhere to be found on SmackDown!. However, after last nights SmackDown!, I think he'll play the role as Steph's bodyguard. There is a history there with the way he was brough in with Bossman a couple of years ago, and he can play the 'big man only wrestles occasionally' role that will keep him fresh and dangerous (assuming Steph gets involved with the upper card level). At least, thats what I am hoping...
Guest Dmann2000 Report post Posted September 13, 2002 Dear God, is that *gasp* a good idea? Why it is. If only WWE writers had those

Guest Leena Report post Posted September 13, 2002 That's not a bad idea for Buchanan. He has that crazy, killer look that fits well for a hired lackey. I thought he wasn't bad in the ring when he was around in 2000, he wasn't all boring power moves like Brock is.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted September 13, 2002 oh boy can't wait for the Bull vs Island Boy curtain jerker at the next PPV

Guest Anglesault Report post Posted September 13, 2002 Bull shoud not be anywhere near the upper card. He should be jobbing to Tajiri every week.
Guest The Electrifyer Report post Posted September 13, 2002 I don't think anyone would really care if Bull was Steph's bodyguard. Nobody remembers Bull or cares for Bull, he's on Velocity. How can he all of a sudden become Steph's bodyguard when nobody even pays attention to him?
Guest Lord of The Curry Report post Posted September 13, 2002 Judging by how the Raw invasion was booked for Smackdown, Steph is designed to come out of this as a face. Bull his a heel. Everybody will look at him and think "RTC" and start booing him. Plus, when was the last time there was a face bodyguard in the WWE?
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted September 14, 2002 And Billy and Chuck vs the Island Boyz is gonna be better how? By not having Bull Buchanon. ::Awaits one of the the guys that follow OVW or whatever to tell me that Bull has gotten much better, and just the other day he did something semi-interesting::
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted September 14, 2002 Im gonna have to Implore the WWE to bring back Haku if Bull Buccannon is able to worm his way on TV....I Mean Come on....Haku is the King Samoan HOSS!
Guest BaldFish Report post Posted September 14, 2002 I have to defend Buchanan. He's never gotten a serious push. He got saddled with the BOSSMAN, for chrissakes. I can understand hating Bossman, but Buchanan never got a chance. I don't see him in the IC range, but he'd do good in a Blackmanesque role.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted September 14, 2002 I have to defend Buchanan. He's never gotten a serious push. . And thank the good lord for that. You do something to EARN a push. You don't get a push THEN earn it.
Guest BaldFish Report post Posted September 14, 2002 I have to defend Buchanan. He's never gotten a serious push. . And thank the good lord for that. You do something to EARN a push. You don't get a push THEN earn it. Well, if you never get any one-man screen time, you don't get the chance to earn it, do you? I'm not talking about a blowjob, Brock push, I'm talking, say, a Crash Holly/Hardcore Title push, or even a D'Lo/Raven on Heat push.
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted September 14, 2002 We can be somewhat fair that Bull Buccannon is Agile for a 300 pounder and can go off the top rope, that doesn't mean that they automatically get a push. Like Anglesault said they have to Actually DO something to get pushed. There has to be some reaction from the fans to give the WWE incentive to push someone. Bull got a 2 month WWF tag team title reign during the RTC angle. Beyond that he hasn't proven to have much character development to push. Hell I say let him back on the air, even if only to job him out, you can't push someone in a Vaccum and people have to be either won over or hate him with heel heat to get him over either way. Guest Brian Report post Posted September 14, 2002 But he's also sloppy like Awesome. Well, I guess now I can sorta see why someone would champion his cause

Guest El Psycho Diablo Report post Posted September 14, 2002 Ugh. Am I the only one that remembers the hours of verbal blowjobbing Ross gave whenever Bull got on-screen? "Big Bull..almost seven feet tall, quick as a cat, BAH GAWD!" I have to say I hate that talentless, one move pulling son of a bitch almost more than anything on this earth. Bull dosen't need TV time, or a push. He needs to be on his back for guys that get pushed deservingly, and not just by being Hosses.
