A video montage airs for WCW and ECW, mapping the promotions’ histories. Paul and Jim open the show saying that this may be the biggest night in the history of both WCW and the WWF. Tonight, one company will disappear from the national scene. Also tonight, a career is one the line. It could be a night of huge celebration or devastation for either locker room. Eddy Guerrero, Rey Mysterio Jr., Juventud Guerrera, and Chavo Guerrero vs. Matt Hardy, Tajiri, Essa Rios, and TAKA Michinoku Chocked full of action, match ends at 23:56 when Eddy Guerrero and Rey are the survivors and Rey pins Tajiri with a hurricanrana. Michael Cole says that Greensboro, North Carolina is home to the biggest superstar in WCW history. That man is also a former WWF champion, Ric Flair. Michael asks Ric why he came down to the Survivor Series. Ric says he got an invitation from Shane McMahon, and he decided to come down and see his favorite company. He says that it probably won’t be his last time, because when you push a rattlesnake’s back against the wall, he’s ready to bite back. Ric says Austin has never lost a big match like this before, and he doubts that Austin will lose one now. He also mentions tonight is proving ground for Chris Jericho, and the WCW title has just the prestige for him to do it with. Tonight, will be a night for all wrestling fans to remember. Unified WCW/WWF Cruiserweight Championship X-Pac© vs. Jeff Hardy X-Pac starts things off with a quick arm drag. He taunts Hardy, waits for him to get up, and hits a stiff kick to the face. Hardy gets up again, but runs into a kick to the gut. Swinging Neckbreaker by X-Pac gets 2. X-Pac isn't taking Hardy seriously at all, laying the boots to him. Hardy gets hit with a spin kick and gets set up for a suplex. However, he blocks it, hitting X-Pac with his own. Hardy runs into the ropes and hits a nice dropkick. He covers, only gets 2, so he runs into the ropes again, this time springing off the top one with a springboard dropkick. Hardy grabs X-Pac in a side headlock, but X-Pac breaks it up with an elbow to the ribs. Before Hardy can react, X-Pac hits a leg lariat then whips Hardy into the ropes. Hardy comes back and is hit with a frankensteiner for a 2 count. Hardy gets up and is hit with a leg lariat to the face, then another one, he tries to block the third, but X-Pac ducks his hand and hits the third to the back of the head. He picks Hardy up for the X-Factor, but Hardy punches X-Pac to avoid it. He grabs X-Pac's arm and flips over his back holding it!! Hardy lands on his feet, but is nailed right with a clothesline! X-Pac sends him into the ropes, Hardy ducks a savate kick and hits one of his own. He hits a DDT and goes up top for the Swanton. He jumps, X-Pac moves and X-Pac covers for 2. X-Pac whips him into the corner, and hits his 3 kicks in the corner move. Hardy falls and X-Pac goes for the Bronco Buster. Hardy moves and X-Pac crotches himself. Hardy picks him up and goes for the Twist of Fate, but X-Pac pushes him off into the ropes. Hardy comes right back with a flying cross body which X-Pac reverses into a pin. 2 Count, X-Pac gets up and is tossed into the corner by Hardy. Hardy goes for his own Bronco Buster, but X-Pac moves and Hardy gets crotched. X-Pac rolls him up, with his feet on the ropes and gets the three count at 13:24. Impact Players, Tazz, Christian vs. Edge, Spike Dudley, and Hollys Hardcore and Justin Credible start off. Hardcore with 2 right hands to the face of Credible send Credible reeling. Hardcore comes off the ropes with a clothesline and goes for the pin. He gets 2 and throws Credible into the ropes. Credible revereses and hits a clothesline. He kicks Hardcore in the gut and hits a butterfly powerbomb. 1-2-Spike Breaks the pin. Credible tags out to Storm and hold Hardcore for a Storm superkick for a 2 count. He sends Hardcore into the ropes, but Hardcore reverses and hits a picture perfect dropkick. He tags in Crash who hits a clothesline. Crash hits a T-Bone Suplex. He tries for another suplex, but Storm blocks it and hits his own. Fallaway Slam by Storm. He sends Crash into the ropes, Crash reverses, but gets hit with a Storm clothesline anyway. Storm hits a DDT, tags in Credible, and they hit the double superkick for the pin. Credible tags in Tazz and in comes Edge. Edge hits a clothesline, but runs into a belly-to-belly suplex by Tazz. Tazz hits a German Suplex, but the pin is broken by Hardcore. Storm tags in and hits a body slam. He picks Edge up for a Pumphandle Suplex,, but Edge slips off his shoulder. Storm turns around right into a Spear!!! 1-2-3 and its 3 on 3. Tazz comes in with a chop. He hits a lariat that almost takes Edge's head off. He picks up Edge for a Powerbomb, but Edge backdrops him instead. He tags in Spike. Spike dropkicks Tazz who tags in Christian. Christian runs in and hits a clothesline on Spike. Spike runs into another clothesline, but ducks the third. Credible tags in and reverses and hip toss. He sends Spike into the corner. Spike jumps over Credible's charge, kicks him the gut, and hits the Dudley Dog for the pin. Christian comes back in with a crucifix for two. Spike tags out to Hardcore, who misses a dropkick. Christian hooks in the Unprettier and he's gone. Christian and Tazz vs. Edge and Spike. Edge charges in with a clothesline. He hits a suplex and a ddt for two. Christian hits a low blow and sends Edge into the ropes. Edge comes right back off with a spear!! He goes for the pin, but Tazz breaks it up. Spike comes in and dropkicks Tazz out of the ring. Christian turns Spike around and hits the Unprettier. Edge from behind, rolls Christian up and Christian is gone!! Christian is pissed as Edge hits a back suplex on Tazz. He runs into the ropes and hits a flying clothesline for two. He picks Tazz up, DownWard Spiral!!! Christian distracts the ref, so Edge can't get the pin. He spears Christian off the apron and hits another suplex on Tazz. He runs into the ropes for the spear, but is tripped by Christian!! Tazz slaps on a STF and Edge is gone. Tazz vs. Spike Dudley. Spike comes in with a dropkick. He hits a gargoyle suplex on Tazz and then a belly to belly. He goes for a T-Bone but Tazz reverses it. He slaps on the Tazzmission and gets the knockout at 25:07. Tazz grabs the mic and yells at Spike. He says that the WWF could have thrown him something better than this. He berates Spike some more, than says “Beat me if you can, survive if I let you!” WCW Championship – Undertaker’s career on the line Chris Jericho© vs. the Undertaker Jericho and Undertaker lock up, with the Undertaker taking full control. He slams Jericho to the ground, waits for him to get up and nails a big clothesline. He is ready and the crowd knows it, cheering for him tons. Jericho gets up, blocks a kick to the midsection and nails a clothesline. Undertaker gets up and is hit with a dropkick. He grabs the Undertaker's arm and slaps on an armbar. The Undertaker grimices in pain, but uses his other hand to pick Jericho over his head for a gorilla press slam!! Jericho gets up and is shocked by Undertaker's sheer power. Jericho runs at UT, but is nailed with a big foot to the face. Undertaker brings Jericho over to the corner and gets ready to go Old School. He climbs the ropes, holding Jericho's arm, but Jericho pulls his arm forwards, causing Undertaker to crotch himself. The crowd is starting to turn on Jericho, as they don't want Undertaker to have to retire. Jericho goes for the pin, but only gets 1. Undertaker gets up and ducks a clothesline, getting Jericho on the way back with a powerslam for two. He hits his running DDT for two, and Jericho is in trouble. Undertaker hits a legdrop for two, then picks Jericho up by the hair. He kicks Jericho in the gut, and goes for the Last Ride. He picks up Jericho too fast, as Jericho is able to slide down his back, and be ready with a kick to the face as Undertaker turns around. Jericho runs into the ropes and hits the Lionsault. 1-2-Undertaker kicks out. Undertaker gets up and is immediatly crossbodied for two by Jericho. Jericho sends Undertaker into the corner, runs at him, but Undertaker moves and Jerich falls back groggy. He is grabbed by the throat and chokeslammed by the Undertaker!!. Undertaker picks Jericho up for the Tombstone!! The fans are shocked and start cheering wildly. He has Jericho over his shoulder, but Jericho slips out and rolls Undertaker up!! 1-2-Undertaker kicks out and is enraged. He gets up and is kicked right in the gut by Jericho. Jericho picks him up for a powerbomb!!! He tries to go for the double and actually is able to nail it!! The crowd is in shock. From the double powerbomb, he slaps on the Walls of Jericho in the middle of the ring. The Undertaker doesn't want to tap. He tries to reach the ropes but can't. Jericho has it locked on. He doesn't want to go out like this, by tapout. After almost a minute, the ref rings the bell at 16:04 signaling the Undertaker has passed out. Jericho falls to his knees, gets handed the belt, and celbrates all the way up the ramp. Undertaker gets up dejectedly and somberly walks to the back. Booker T, Test, RVD, Shamrock vs. Kane, Angle, Bradshaw, and Faarooq. Kane and Shamrock start out. Kane hits up Shamrock right away with two uppercuts to the chin as Shamrock falls backwards and struggles to get up. He is met with a Kane shouldertackle, then is picked up again and nailed with a powerslam. Kane tags in Angle and Shamrock gets to his feet. Kane and Angle nail him with a double clothesline as Angle goes for the pin. Shamrock kicks right out and attacks Angle with all he has. Frankensteiner by Shamrock. Dropkick by Angle. Belly to Belly by Angle, and he tags Kane back in. Kane goes for a clothesline, but Shamrock grabs his arm and slaps on a cross-arm breaker. He holds Kane in it and tags in RVD. Shamrock throws Kane into the turnbuckle, Kane runs right back out at Shamrock. Shamrock ducks a clothesline and Kane is nailed by a flying back elbow by RVD for a 2 count. Van Dam with a bulldog, then he runs into the ropes and hits an Asai Moonsault. 1-2- Kane again kicks out. RVD tags in Test who slam Kane to the mat. He whips Kane into the ropes, but it is reversed. Test however, charges right back at him with the Big Boot. Kane flies over the top, landing on his face. He starts to climb back in, but Test grabs his hair and rams his face into the turnbuckle. He brings Kane back in and goes for a legdrop. It misses and Kane manages to tag Faarooq. Faarooq nails Test with a clothesline. Test gets up and WHAM!! right into a spinebuster by Faarooq. Pin is broken up by RVD, who is clotheslined out by Faarooq. He turns around and Test nails him with the Big Boot for the first elimination. Bradshaw charges in and hits the Clothesline from Hell on Test. Test falls backwards into his corner and tags in Booker T. T ducks a clothesline and hits a leg lariat on Bradshaw. He runs into the ropes, hits a flying forearm for 2. He tags in Shamrock and holds Bradshaw for a Shamrock knee to the chest. Shamrock goes for the kill on Bradshaw nailing a german suplex. He slaps on the Anklelock and Bradshaw is forced to tap out. Now it is down to Angle and Kane vs. Team Alliance. Angle comes in to face Shamrock who greets him with a leg sweep. He tries to slap on the Anklelock, but Angle kicks him in the face. Shamrock tags in Test and Test kicks Angle in the stomach. He lifts him up and nails a huge powerbomb for 2. Test lifts Angle up, but is kicked by Angle. Test blocks it, but Angle nails an enziguri for 2. Test gets up and runs right into the Olympic Slam. 1-2-Booker breaks it up and is Belly-to-Belly for his trroubles. Angle slaps on the Anklelock and Test is gone. As Angle celebrates, Shamrock nails him from behind with a back suplex for 2. He sends him into the ropes and hip tosses Angle down. He slaps on the Anklelock and Angle is in trouble. Angle manages to reach the bottom rope and Shamrock is forced to release. He gets up and reverses a Belly-to-Belly by Shamrock and tags Kane. Kane comes in a house full of fire and lariats Shamrock. Booker charges in and is also Lariated. RVD jumps off the top with a crossbody press and is caught for a powerslam. Kane tags Angle back in and they hit Shamrock with a double suplex for two. Shamrock reverses an Irish whip by Angle which sends Angle near Team Alliance. Booker sticks his leg out and hits Angle with a leg lariat to the back as Angle bounces off the ropes. That sends Angle into a Fishermen's Suplex by Shamrock and he is pinned. Its Kane alone vs. Shamrock, Booker T, and RVD!! Kane charges in from off the top rope with the flying clothesline on the unsuspecting Shamrock. He knocks Booker and RVD off the apron onto the barriers. Kane totally manhandles Shamrock and hits the chokeslam for the pin. He seems unstoppable as RVD comes in. Kane hits boot to the face, waits for RVD to get up and hits a clothesline for 2. He picks up RVD for the chokeslam, but Booker pulls RVD away. RVD rolls out of the ring as Booker tage himself in. Booker stares at Kane with fear in his eyes and Kane runs at Booker. Booker ducks a clothesline by Kane as Kane hits the turnbuckle head on. Booker gives him some right hands. He whips Kane across, but Kane reverses and goes for a clothesline, but Booker ducks and hits a high leg lariat, then falls to the ground. RVD climbs up to the top rope and hits the 5-star Frog Splash almost immediately. 1-2-3 and its over at 29:41. RVD jumps up after winning the match, and starts the celebration. RVD climbs to the top rope and points to himself as the crowd chants R-V-D!! Booker T rises and shoots a glare at RVD as he poses for the crowd. Shane says the Alliance is on a roll and there’s only one match to go. He says tomorrow will be one of the biggest celebrations in the history of RAW. Vince McMahon says he will accept selected WCW contracts after tonight’s match, including Steve Austin’s if he is willing to apologize to Vince. WWF Championship – For the Fate of the two companies Stone Cold Steve Austin© vs. the Rock Austin charges at the Rock and takes immediate advantage. He throws Rock into the ropes and goes for a clothesline, but Rock ducks and hits his own rights. Rock throws Austin into the ropes and goes for a belly-to-belly, but Austin reverses, sidesteps and goes for a Russian legsweep, but Rock elbows out of that sending Austin back into the ropes. Rock tries to hit Austin with a samoan drop but Austin falls out of that and goes for the million dollar dream, but the Rock turns it into a backdrop. Pin for two. Rock picks Austin up and whips him into the ropes, and Austin comes off with a Thesz press, but Rock lets him roll through. Both men back up and they battle with the right hands, but Austin takes control and whips rocky into the ropes. Rocky goes for the Maivia hurricane, but Austin blocks the DDT and pushes Rock off. He kicks and goes for a stunner, but Rocks pushes him off into the ropes. Rock ducks his head and Austin comes off with a DDT. Austin pins for two. Austin picks Rock up and throws some right hands, pushing Rock into the corner. He whips Rocky across and charges, but Rock comes off the turnbuckle with an elbow to Austin’s head. Austin ducks a clothesline and kicks the Rock and goes for a stunner, but Rock pushes Austin into the turnbuckle and goes for a german suplex, but Austin grabs the ropes and the Earl Hebner breaks the hold. Rock gets a low blow, and a stunner, but falls outside the ring. Austin rolls out of the ring and picks up the Rock. He suplexes him onto the matting. Austin picks up the rock and whips him into the turnbuckle. Rock hits and spraws away. They brawl a little on the outside. Austin picks up Rock again and tries to throw him into the barrier, but the Rock reverses. Austin holds on and catches him, going for a suplex but the Rock blocks and tries for one of his own. Austin blocks that and goes for his spinebuster, but Rock blocks and hits a DDT. Rock slowly gets up and throws Austin into the ring. Rock pulls Austin up and whips him into the ropes. Rock drops his head and Austin hits a swinging neckbreaker. Austin pins for two. Austin whips rock into the ropes and hits a spinebuster for two. Austin punches Rock into the opposite turnbuckle and whips him across. Austin charges in with a clothesline. Austin tries again but Rock reverses, and Austin walks out of the turnbuckle into a spinebuster. Rock takes a pin for two. He picks up Austin and whips him into the ropes. Rock goes for the samoan drop, but Austin drops off and catches him in a waistlock, but Rock goes behind and hits the release german suplex. Pin for two. He picks Austin back and gives him right hands in the croner, but goes to spit on his hand and Austin gives him a low blow. Austin turns Rock into the corner and stops him down. Austin steps back and gives him a knee to the face. Austin picks Rock up, yells at him, and whips him across and hits a clothesline. Austin puts rock on the top rope and gets a superplex for two and a half. Austin picks Rock up and hits a standing suplex for two and a half. Austin picks Rock up again and goes for a stunner, but rock blocks and throws him into the ropes. The rock catches Austin and goes for the crippler crossface, but Austin grabs the ropes. Rock picks Austin up and hits him into the corner. He goes for a whip but Austin reverses into the Angle slam, but Rock drops out and hits a DDT. Pin for two and a half. Rock picks Austin up and throws him into the ropes. Rock goes for a clothesline but Austin ducks and kicks him in the gut. Austin goes for the stunner, but Rock throws him into the ropes and catches him with a spinebuster. Rock up with the People’s elbow. Rock pins for a nearfall. Rock picks him up and throws him into the ropes. Rock gets the samoan drop for a nearfall. Rock picks Austin up again and throws him into the ropes, and goes for powerslam, but Austin stops and doesn’t go through and blocks the move. Rock goes for right hands and gets Austin in the corner. Rock tries whipping Austin but Austin reverses and catches Rock off the turnbuckle with a Thesz press. Right hands by Austin leads to the elbow off the ropes. Austin gets to the second rope and goes for an elbow. Rock rolls, but Austin lands on his feet and waits for the Rock to get up. He kicks the Rock, catches him with a stunner. Austin rolls over, nonchalant ly cover him with one hand and throws up the bird. Rock kicks out just before the three, and Austin gets up pissed at Hebner. Austin picks p rocky and goes for the million dollar dream again, but Rock tries the rope climb. Austin lets go of the hold when Rock gets to the top rope and lands on his neck. Austin covers him and rock gets his foot on the rope before the three. Austin picks up Rock and throws him back into the turnbuckle, and stomps him down. Austin pulls Rock out and goes for the sharpshooter. He locks it in and Rock is caught in the middle of the ring. He fights to break the hold, but Austin re-applies it. Rock crawls to the ropes and grabs on, forcing Austin to break the hold. Austin picks Rock up and throws him into the ropes, but Rock comes off and hits the right hands. He whips Austin and Austin reverses, tries to throw a clothesline, but Rock ducks and hits the rockbottom and both men fall down. The camera pans to a split, four-way view of Vince and the WWF locker room, Shane and the WCW locker room, Ric Flair in the stands, and Rock and Austin. Rock rolls over and drapes an arm over Austin for a nearfall. The locker rooms and Flair act accordingly. Both men get up, and begin to duke it out. They battle it out for a few seconds, and Austin tries to get a whip but Rock locks in a urinage. Austin stands up and the Rock hooks up for another Rock Bottom, Austin slips out, tries for a Stunner, but the Rock pushes him off. Austin turns around, and Rock throws him into the ropes. The Rock catches him in the urinage, but Austin breaks it up and goes for a stunner, but Rock catches his foot and turns him around for the Rock Bottom!!! Hebner counts, 1-2-3 at 31:17!!! The Rock is the new WWF Champion!! Vince and the whole WWF roster come down and are ecstatic. Austin rolls to the outside of the ring as the WWF celebration ensues. Heyman leaves the commentary table. Michael Cole tries to catch up to Ric Flair following the match, but Ric has already left. He says he has to console a fallen champ. The camera heads back to the ring as Angle offers the Rock a handshake and Jericho sits on the outside, pointing at his belt and then pointing at the Rock.
