Jerry Jarrett Confirms Road Dogg At 9/18 PPV

Recommended Posts

On the wrestling classic forum Jerry said that he was looking forward to seeing Road Dogg again at the next ppv in one of his posts. I'm guessing he will be the masked man.

Well...

I hate Roaddogg.

But I hope they at least make an angle where Truth kicks the living shit out of him under the guise of a "They stuck me as your rapping lower card tag partner"

That would be worth my 10 dollars.

I agree, bps. They really should play things up between Killings and Road Dogg.

Perfect set-up (pending that the D-O-double G isn't the Bullet)

Have Road Dogg come out to aid Truth during some type of attack, or even just have him meet up w/ him backstage and do a "Hey man, long time no see" type of interview. Then Truth can cut promos about how Dogg is here to try and latch onto his success. They could do it that way, or have Dogg play the cocky SOB saying that he helped make The Truth what he is, so he deserves a shot at that belt, etc.

I'm not a fan of Road Dogg either, so I hope they fit him in well with everything that's been going on.

The problem I have is that why would Jarrett give up the mystery of the masked man just days before the show? I smell a swerve or maybe I'm too jaded. It's not like Road Dogg is gonna bring in a substantially bigger buy for them. So,Dogg will be there but now I have hesitations about he being the Bullet.

The Road Dogg sucks, yes I know this. But he fits in the federation well b/c of his past with BOTH Killings and Jarrett. They can do a few things with him and make a good storyline. If it makes things interesting, you can't knock TOO much, heh.

It's true...this is an occasion where the move fits a couple storylines that could be pretty good.

I also think that RoadDogg won't be the masked man...but will be a decoy for someone else that makes less sense.

I think the Bullet will end up being Steve Corino. Who else would know the "Old School" mannerisms of Bob Armstrong?

I think Jarrett vs. Corino would be a pretty kickass match.

If Dogg is there to be fed to the Truth, then I'm all for him coming in. Funny how 1/2 of DX is now in TNA.

Dustin Diamond...Hermie Sadler...Marcus "Buff" Bagwell...The Road Dogg...Syxx-Pac...Discon Inferno...this'll actually be the first NWATNA that I don't bother forking out for.

To inject some positivity into this post, the Lynn/Killings match could be a good one.

I think the fans are gonna piss on whoever The Bullet turns out to be no matter what, since anyone interesting that they could deliver won't be whichever middle-aged Armstrong sibling obviously played the character in the previous weeks.

But bringing in Waltman, Dogg, Hall, and Buff this week, not to mention Sadler and Diamond? I though they wanted to cut the budget.

Well this is their big return after going dark for a couple of weeks so I can understand them loosening the purse strings a little...I do question their choice of purchase mind.

Get ready for the Degeneration World Order, featuring Syxx-Pac, Road Dogg, Scott Hall, and Buff Bagwell.

Funny how 1/2 of DX is now in TNA.

Not to mention half the Clique (4 guys, assuming we can say that Shawn is "retired" now.)

Seems like Hall never really did much in the way of politics though. At least, in his good days, he was never pushed as hard as Shawn, Nash, and Hunter. Of course, he also seemed to have more people who wanted to naturally like him rather than have him forced down their throat.

Anyway, Pac is a crybaby, so it will be interesting to see how this all works out.

RED ALERT! RED ALERT!

From a story @ 411:

Waltman has a great relationship with the Jarretts, and is expected to work with them on some creative aspects in addition to his work in the ring.

Why is this so hard? Good matches, minimum of bullshit. Instead we get a nitro rerun with all the wwe castoffs.
