Kordell Stewart

I have never seen a qb get so much support as Kordell Stewart. Eeeeverytime he looks like shit he is ALWAYS getting the benifit of the doubt from all the "experts". After a bad game by Stewart all the experts blame something, but it's never Kordell's fault.

When will the well if they did this and that shit going to end with Kordell? Every other qbs get maybe 2 years to show something before every expert tears the guy apart. You always hear them tearing qbs apart saying that at some point you have to stop letting your WRs take the blame and take the game under your control.

When is Kordell's "it's time to stop making excuses" speeches from Espn broadcasters going to get here?

Really? For years all I kept hearing that Kordell was the worst starting QB in the league, and the Cowher was crazy for not drafting QBs in the first round. Not that I'm a Stewart fan (I don't like him), but maybe its just ESPN. Certainly the print media and web sites don't like him.

Well yeah i was talking about ESPN. I knew i should've said that since ESPN is my only sports source. I don't read the sports section in the newspaper or magazines and i don't even watch anything about sports other then Sportscenter and NFL 2nite.

But yeah, ESPN for awhile now have always given Kordell excuses.

He sucks and the Steelers are overrated adn have no heart. They had all the motivation in the world last week and the Pats kicked the shit out of them again. The arrogants fucks probably still think they should have one both games.

EDIT: MY bad about writing Packers, don't know why I did.

Packers? que?

^_^

You are right on the Steelers being overrated, though. New England's raped them twice and now Oakland's fixing to do the same thing tonight.

I wonder if Cowher's going bald now hearing his guys boast about how they were "just caught off-guard" and promise to hit 'em harder next week only to choke like Patbrick Ewing again. Man, I love it when arrogant fucktards have to eat crow.

:firedevil:

Hey, isn't that what the Rams have been saying?

I must thank the Steelers for falling apart so that they can ensure that Cleveland locks up the Division for the season.

Don't forget those Bengals...

hahahahahahahaha

Well, as they said on the CBS halftime show: "That's why they get paid the big bucks to wear the black and orange." LOL!

Pittsburgh will not lose their division. Even with Kordell Stewart at QB, but they will not win a Super Bowl as long as he is starting. Does anyone else think that Tommy Maddox might be the man to take the Steelers to the next level? You never know, maybe all he needs is another opportunity like Kurt Warner.

Stewart actually got blasted year after year until he had a good year last year. Then all of a sudden everyone thinks he's the man. That's the problem with the media. Everytime someone is having a good year, they think he's going to do that every year and then they wonder why that person is struggling. He over achieved last year and will always suck.

Just to rub some salt in the wound, wasn't Boomer Easian (sp) the one to say that...

Your comparison is flawed.

Tommy boy got plenty of chances while Kurt never had a chance to play in his first NFL career.

At this point the Browns are the only team in that division to show anything. The Steelers can still take the division if they can manage to pull things together. But as of right now Cleveland would destroy the Steelers.

The thing is, he really didn't have that good a year. He did pass for 3000 yards, but that's becoming more common and meaning less as a result, much like 30 HR in baseball. He threw for 14 TD and 11 INT. Those aren't great numbers. The INT figure is nice and low, but 14 TD's for a starting QB who threw for 3000+ yards on a winning team is a joke. I laughed my ass off when people were seriously considering Kordell for MVP.

It might have been a good year for HIM, but that doesn't make it a good year in absolute terms.

People in Pitt don't rip on the guy for sucking ass in the first 2 games this year?

In Boston if any of our athletes perform poorly they hear about it on the radio. "The Fellowship of the Miserable" don't suffer failure well.

Even though he sucks, nobody at QB could save this team if they fumble 4-5 times a game.

<--- Steelers fan.
