I have always been a huge fan of tag team wrestling, and it pains me to see the way the division has been neglected by both Vince McMahon & Eric Bischoff in recent years.

So what is your favourite WWF Tag Team in the glory days?

Personally I have to pick the Bulldogs.  They were really the first dominant WWF Tag Team in the mid-to-late 80s.  I was also a big fan of Demolition, the Harts, the Rougeaus, and the Brainbusters.

I'm very biased towards the Brainbusters, since I'm a big 4 Horsemen fan. I also enjoyed the Hart Foundation, the British Bulldogs, The Rockers, Demolition.

Tag wrestling has taken a hit over the last 5 years. Arn Anderson made a great point during the WWF's internet show that most teams now are thrown together due to the faster pace of TV now. Back in the '80s & '90s guys were together for years. The Dudley Boyz are the only team to be together for more than 2 months.

IMHO, tag wrestling is pretty much dead. Although, the WWF had a red hot division in 2000.

Who can't love The Rockers?  They were so incredibly high on pot everytime they came out that you could smell it coming out of your TV.

I was a big fan of the Rougeas, Brainbuster, Harts, and Bulldogs too, but I'm a pothead, so fellow potheads rule!

There were tons of great tag teams in the eighties and even early nineties, but now, well it's c rap. In 2000-2001 there was the Duds, E+C and Hardyz who had great matches, but there was no-one outside that worth caring about really. Compared with the days of the Hart Foundation/Rockers/Demolition. Now, the tag division is just mid-card filler rather than an actual division.

I always loved Demoliton when I was younger.  Looking back now, they just sort of look like S&M bikers, but oh well.

The Powers of Pain were pretty cool too, and they had Mr. Fuji, thus upping their status.

I voted for Demolition just because that's the team I liked when I was growing up. They weren't the best wrestlers, but they were one of the most dominant teams of the late 80's. If I had to go by skill, I'd say the Bulldogs and the Brainbusters, although the Harts and Rockers were fun to watch. Man there are just too many great teams of that era. too bad we have like one watchable team right now.

I'm sorely tempted to vote Rougeaus due to their AWESOME theme music, and while the Rockers were tag team specialists, the Brainbusters were technically sound cheap-shot artists. Arn & Tully all the way.

I couldn't resist. :)

From Montreal to Memphis,

Parlez vous français?

Tell all the girls, the Rougeaus on their way!

For all the pretty boys, we're not muscleheads!

We hate that long-haired look, we like the preppy look instead!

We're all American boys!

All American Boys!

We're all American boys!

All American Boys!

We don't like heavy metal, we don't like rock and roll,

All we like to listen to is Barry Manilow!

On peu parler francais, dans mon maison loufque!

On l'aime le faire fache, quelconque - we love the USA! Hey!

We're all American boys!

All American Boys!

We're all American boys!

All American Boys!

Yeah the Rougeaus were without a doubt a fun heel tag team. Back when most heel teams tried to be over by being badasses, these guys were just stuck-up jerks. They were horrible as faces and it was a smart choice to turn them heel. I always thought Jaques was especially funny. Too bad his ring worked sucked for what ever reason when he returned as the Mountie.

Reading the Rougeaus theme music was awesome! I love that theme. One of my top 10 favorite wrestling theme music of all-time.

The Fabulous Rougeaus are the kings. The Quebecers and West Texas Rednecks are mere pretenders to the throne.

I love old-school themes. Using ready-made music like they do too often today takes away from the wrestler's identity. Observe:

Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!!

Money, money, money, money, money-y-y-y!

Everybody's got a price.

Everybody's gonna pay.

'Cause the Million Dollar Man,

Always gets his way!

Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!!

Money, money, money, money, money-y-y-y!

Some might cost a little.

Some might cost a lot.

But I'm the Million Dollar Man,

And you will be bought!

Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!!

Nya-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!!

Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!!

Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha!!

Money, money, money, money, money-y-y-y!

Money, money, money, money, money-y-y-y!

Money, money, money, money, money-y-y-y!

Hey, it wouldn't be Ted without the laugh. :D

In the 80's I liked

Strike Force

Demolition

Killer Bees

Now I like

Brainbusters

Rougeau Brothers

Killer Bees

I still voted because I like Tully and Arn THAT much more now than anyone else.  Killer Bees are second for obvious sentimental value for me

When, I was groing up, I was a huge Demolition mark!

Man, I just forgot how many quality teams there were in the 80's.

BTW, thanks for the theme music, I love the Million Dollar Man's!

I remember the first Halloween I was of drinking age, I dressed up as a Killer Bee when I went to the bar.  My girlfriend really wasn't impressed with me.  I guess wrestling was geared more for kids than 21 year olds back in the 1980's

The Brain Busters are pretty much my favorite team ever, so my vote goes to them, with honorable mention to the Rockers, Bulldogs and Rougeaus. And even though they weren't particularly good wrestlers, I still kinda like Demolition.

I gotta go with the Harts here.  Most teams at the time were either both power guys (Demos, Roadies) or both high risk guys (Rockers, RNR Express).  The Harts were one of the first to mix the two and came up with a helluva combo.

I'm locked between the hart foundation and the British Bulldogs, I'd say the bulldogs just for the Dynamite Kid.  He was well ahead in north American wrestling style at the time.

Had to vote for Brain Busters though I like alot of the other teams but they were an A+ Team with an A+ Manager compared to Mr. Fuji

I used to like the Young Stallions...

Looking back my favorite 80's tag team in the WWF was the Brainbusters.

Guest Tony149

Yes! I'm glad the Brainbusters are leading in the poll. There up 6 to 4 on Demolition. Arn & Tully rule! They're even under my name with the NWA Tag Team Titles.

well thats to hard for me to answer.  I love all those teams to muc.  However not that theyre the best but one team that should have been on that poll is the Islanders

I was thinking of giving a pity vote to Strike Force.  But then I reminded myself how much they sucked and came to my senses and voted Demolition.

Demolition comes close, but the Bulldogs were better in my opinion.

There were too many great teams in the WWF during the 80's.  The Rougeaus were great heels and as technically sound an any team.  The Bulldogs were powerful, technical wrestlers, but personal demons ruined that one.  Demolition were brawlers with great looks, who were something different for people to cheer for.  My vote goes to the Hart Foundation.  Bret Hart is one of the greatest of all time and Jim Neidhart, although not on par with the Hitman, still could perform in the ring due to his strength and power.  They had a lot of great matches during their time together and had a couple of good title reigns.

Guest Kahran Ramsus

Neidhart was good for tag team wrestling.  He was a power guy with limited stamina.  He could let Bret do all the work, come in and hit his big moves, and then tag Bret back in.  The Dream Team was the same way with Valentine in Bret's role and Beefcake in Anvil's.

It has to be the Bulldogs, partly out of patriotism, but mostly because of the Dynamite Kid. Always liked the Hart Foundation too (must be something in the water up at Calgary)

Well, I voted British Bulldogs. Just last night during RAW I was watching with a friend and he brought these guys up. My little brother use to have a little tag team he called the British Bulldog in school. Oh, the days of the schoolyard acting like wrestlers. I would put Demolition, BrainBusters, Hart Foundation, and Rockers as nominees as well. I liked the Killer Beers personally for some reason.
