Guest DragonflyKid Report post Posted September 16, 2002 I have some money saved and am tired of living here in central California so I will be moving further west soon for some adventure. The problem is I don't have an exact location so I will be living vagabondishly in search of a place to call home. On wednesday I will head on the Greyhound(I like bus rides) to Oakland where I will catch the A's/Angels on wednesday and thursday and A's/Texas on friday. After the game I will be headed straight to San Jose to both visit my sister who lives there and to catch the WWE show at the compaq center on saturday. I will probably stay there a few days and then head off to San Francisco as I haven't been there since the '96 Tibetan Freedom Concert. Then I will likely head north and along the bay into places like Vallejo. Is anyone else going to the WWE show?, it will be the last Smackdown crew show before the PPV so I'm thinking it can go a few ways. It can be a show where they run through the PPV match which can provide good matches. They can dog it not wanting to get injured before a big show which can produce bad matches. Or they could run through the PPV match at half speed which seems the most likely and can be okay. I will probably have to catch the PPV at a bar which will be a first and I hear it's filled with alot of marks which can be aggravating.
Guest Big McLargeHuge Report post Posted September 16, 2002 I was gonna go the house show in San Jose but my cousin (my ride) decided not to go with me, so I'm stuck. He wanted to be on TV, the fucker. I'll have to wait till March (that is if WM is indeed in Seattle) for the WWe to hold a RAW or Smackdown here. I'm hoping for RAW, as I find Smackdown to be pretty dull. Nothing really happens at house shows anyways. Though I read a house show report from 411wrestling earliers this week where an awesome/spectacular/fantastic Flair vs. Jericho match (supposedly) took place. He could've been exaggerating or just a little biased in his assessment but still, I would kill to see that.
Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted September 16, 2002 Oh 'tis! I'm closer to San Jose than ever (30-45 minutes away), but I just bought my textbooks, and just found out I need to buy more (one of which is almost as expensive as all the other ones I just bought COMBINED), so ain't no way in heck I'll make it.
