WWE Best of Raw Volume 1&2

Ok I'll admit, this DVD is rather old. But, I just seen it at Blockbuster for $19.99 and decided to FINALLY pick it up. Anyways, I faintly remember some of the stuff that was mentioned to be on it, ie matches and segments with DX, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Kane, Steve Austin, and The Rock. But I'd like to hear everyone's honest opinion on the set and maybe your favorite match or moments from the DVDs. Anyways, I'm gonna pop it in now and have a look. Feel free to give your 2 cents on it...

I also have this DVD, and I really like it, too. I don't remember all those extras but the Hardyz first Title win and the TIT series with E&C stand out for me. And the "I quit" match with HHH and Rock is pretty cool too.

Overall a great DVD, great extras. And it seems you got it for a fair price.

That's an ok price, but you can find it brand new at Best Buy for that same price. Anyway, the DVD certainly has a lot of content, but when it was all said and done, my feelings were sort of in the middle. A lot of the footage was good, but there were so many things that didn't have any place there, and other things that should have been there, but weren't. Some of the dates that are given for different matches/angles/promos are just horribly off, which makes the WWF look like idiots since it's from their show and it's their DVD. The Rock/HHH "I Quit" match is cool simply cause it's one of the few complete matches on either disc. The debut of Jericho is probably my favorite portion of either disc. The pop he gets is just unreal. I think it's a good purchase if you weren't around for the "glory" days of RAW, but I think you'll need to find some material elsewhere to see everything you should see.

Well, first of all I don't have a Best Buy where I live. Second of all, it was brand new.

Everytime they show a clip from an edition of RAW, there's a date at the bottom of the screen. I would say that about half of them are horribly off, some even as far apart as 7 or 8 months.

Ok, I just watched Disc One earlier, and ALL the dates are correct.

I've only seen V.1, but even that is a good look at Raw. I'd recommend it to anyone to started watching wrestling in the past couple of years.

DD he lives in Canada so $19.99 is like $13 US.

I really like the DVD, I might watch tonight now that you've mentioned it. I'm a huge mark for late 97 and early 98 WWF. The Real DX and Austin ruled the world at that point.
