With all the other noteworthy happenings on Raw, the lowlight of the program had to be that one of the Raw superstars had a live match, even though this individual was clearly in "no condition to perform."

my nickname for him was way better, though I agree with that one. He fucked up the Whisper, and HHH sold being woozy for like half of a minute before Jeff hit it. Made me laugh almost as much as RVD's "Angry Angry Man" promo.

By the way, that's a polite way of saying that the guy wrestled like he had arrived at the building via Smoke-a-Bowl Boulevard and Crackhead Drive. Jim Ross can talk all he wants about the high altitude in Denver, but it sure looked like someone backstage dropped the ball in clearing this person to work.

 

Hey, admittedly I can't prove that there were any hopped-up performers on Raw. Maybe the poor guy was wrestling while injured. Maybe he recently suffered some deep emotional trauma, and his mind was elsewhere. But that particular match was an embarrassment, and the circumstantial evidence shows that someone backstage should have seen it coming. Scott Hall could have turned in a more professional outing after a bottle of Cuervo Gold. If you can read lips, you know that another wrestler in the ring was also disgusted with that guy's particular performance.

 

In any case, somebody in the back owes a big fat apology to the guy who could have had his neck broken last night. And the other guy needs to be taken off the booking sheets until he has his stuff together. While the WWE needs some more free publicity, I don't think they want to get it by having an impaired wrestler split his head open like a melon on live television.

the worst thing about hardy was: usually if a guys at half speed (for whatever reason) they usually dont blow the spots.

 

but yet that has to be the night they give him a desire video AND put him in the main event (i know hes had like 2 main event matches before but the desire video was a double push)

When did Jeff Hardy almost split his head open in the match though? I was flipping back and forth between that match and football. He blew a bunch of spots, but it's not like that's something new for him.

 

The only wrestler that I saw almost bust his head open was RVD on the ramp when he dove at HHH.

It can't be. Jeff fucked up too bad. I mean, yeah, he normally blows a spot or two, but he botched every one except the Swanton.

 

Think of this though, he screwed up many times... in a match against HHH. Jeff Hardy's career = Triple H SMASH!

When RVD jumped out of the ring and landed on his head, it seemed to me that HHH moved out of the way... kinda like the Lucy/Charlie kick-the-football routine...

The more I think about it the more I think it could've been RVD last night. Test is my darkhorse.

Some examples:

I don't remember JR saying anything like this during the Hardy - HHH match. (I was flipping back and forth with football though) I know something like that was said either during the Test - Booker match or the RVD match.

Test messed up some spots pretty bad in his match with the Book. Particularly the sideslam. If he would've dropped him wrong from that it could've been bad. Add to the fact that after everytime time Booker kicked out Test had this crazy look on his face that looked to be a combination of sucking dick and getting struck by lightning and that's why he's my darkhorse. No sober man should be making faces like that.

 

RVD looked to make solid contact with Jericho's head 3 times by my count. Maybe they were just good looking shots, but they looked brutal.

 

Jeff Hardy messed up a bunch of spots but most of the time he was falling over the ropes, off the ramp, or completely missing. Once again maybe I had the football game on but I don't remember Hardy almost breaking HHH's neck.

Couldn't have been RVD. He looked fine last night, except for Trips trying to kill him by sidestepping the plancha. I wouldn't doubt it if Trips suddenly said "NO POBO!!!," spat some water, and said that RVD wasn't ready for the main event because he almost killed himself on the plancha.
