why didn't somebody just hire a really strong guy like Bane to fight him, then sneak up behind him and shoot him? And if you aren't sure he's dead, empty a round or two into him or cut his head off. Problem solved, and you don't have to worry about dinner

Bane is an awful example, because he is impervious to most handguns because of the extreme nature of his muscle mass.

More accurately, Ivy's seductiveness is an important part of her character. You don't have to look exactly like Ivy to be seductive, and even though I usually get between a 7 and an 8, Flyboy thinks I'm a 9... so there.

I always knew Batman wasn't real, but damn it, I wanted to be him. I even practiced throwing boomerangs with strings attached and bruised my cute little ass more often than I care to remember by trying to throw the makeshift batarangs around branches and swinging on them.

And then I saw a rerun of that awful show and I felt ill. Betrayed. Mocked.

I liked Tigra because of the whip thingie. I made one of those for myself and I was rarely seen without rope burns on my arms for weeks afterwards. Never managed to turn invisible, although I had the ensnaring thing down pat. Trouble was, I usually ensnared myself.

 

Anyway, the cartoon just kinda petered out. The last episode was on New Thundera with something about a book that Lion-O went into and saved the world or something, all by beating the crap out of Mumm-Ra, as usual. I think. It was ages ago.

 

I liked the central theme of the Thundercats, the underlying message: You can solve any problem in the world if you just find the right people and pound them. It was great.
