Guest Kojack Report post Posted September 18, 2002 Well I actully enjoy the team of B and C. They are athletic and a good tag team and finally has the gay angle off them. They are both great wrestlers and are good tag team partners. I hope the get some serious contendership. I love the code red move they do.
Guest art_vandelay Report post Posted September 18, 2002 Well, they're sorta plain without the gimmick, and "Code Red" is just a Doomsday Device variation. I don't know, nothing special to me.
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted September 18, 2002 For using "Billy" and "Great Wrestler" you will get flamed here... Although I like Billy and Chuck as a team...they cut the gay angle before it got too stale, which was good.
Guest LaParkaMarka Report post Posted September 18, 2002 I enjoyed them quite a bit as heels once Rico joined. Now...who knows. :|
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted September 18, 2002 maybe they'll stop wearing Hotpants shorts bandannas and Maybe stop that boyband crap theme.
Guest RickyChosyu Report post Posted September 18, 2002 Neither are any good and the only reason they were drawing any heel heat to begin with was because of the gay gimick and Rico's job as a manager. On their own, they're as vapid and borring a tag team as you'll find. You know what's particularly sad about all this? Billy and Chuck have no chance of getting over outside of being heels, and Stephanie is NEVER going to be accepted as a face. Meanwhile, Eric is a smarmy, yet likeable character, and his cronies beat the crap out of various annoying people every week on Raw, yet they're supposed to be heels? Does NO ONE see how ridiculous this is? Anyway, long story short, Chuckabilly win at Unforgiven, and hilarity insues. Yep.
Guest DARRYLXWF Report post Posted September 18, 2002 You should have them backstage talking about over the top things, like eating babies and such. Have them appear to be a little on the edge. So they scare the rest of the roster for not being 'good wrestlers' but for being downright spooky.
Guest DJ Jeff Report post Posted September 18, 2002 I'm glad that Billy & Chuck finally ditched the gay angle. That was just pathetic. Hopefully now they'll win the Tag Team Titles again, this time as faces.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted September 18, 2002 Maybe stop that boyband crap theme. You just insulted the best entrance music of all time. OF ALL TIME, I say!
Guest Rob Edwards Report post Posted September 18, 2002 Well they did try the face thing at the start of their union (end of 01) and they had zero crowd heat, I doubt the fans will forget the angle that quickly anyway unless they took a Too Much style hiatus and everyone had forgotten it by the time they returned
Guest RenegadeX28 Report post Posted September 18, 2002 Finally, the gay angle is off of them. I actually like their skills in the ring, but the gay angle made them look like crap. When they came out at RAW, they had a new feeling to them. They could become one hell of a tag team.
Guest bravesfan Report post Posted September 18, 2002 It was actually REFRESHING to see Billy Gunn on Raw for some reason. He not only looked as motivated as he did during the Outlaw days (pre-face days), but got me excited to see him without a stupid gimmick attached to him. Hasn't this man been through enough with those already?
Guest RickyChosyu Report post Posted September 18, 2002 They really do need a long hiatus to ditch the gimick, because people aren't going to forget the endless homo-erotic skits they did just because "they really weren't gay" and it's not as if they were any good to begin with. Some of Gunn's gimicks over the years have been pretty bad, but he's been given plenty of opporunities to get over based on his own merrits, and he's never shown any signs of improving or becoming anything more than a mediocre tag wrestler. Even as a part of DX (the peak of his career) he was all but useless and rellied heavilly on Road Dogg to get his heat. Billy is the WWF's Buff Bagwell: they want to push him because of his look, but they don't realize that he's missing the other 90% of what makes a marketable wrestler. Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted September 18, 2002 See, Billy Gunn is the reason I hate myself for wishing WWF had more gimmicks. Mr Ass... Chuckabilly... Jesus Christ, do all gimmicks have to be mature or sexual-oriented? Whatever happened to silly gimmicks like the kind at the WM Battle Royal? I miss that stuff kind of. Unfortunately, we've entered a new era of flare-nostrils-squint-eyes-and-deliver-intense-promo, along with a South Park level of humor. Goddamn you Vince, I want to think with something other than my cajones.
Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted September 18, 2002 Well on the upcoming Smackdown, Billy and Chuck get huge face pops supposedly from reports, so it seems they are pretty over as faces right now.

I always thought he was goddamn ugly, especially during his Mr Ass period.
Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted September 19, 2002 I thought it was funny that Stephanie used B&C as her "three minute" guys, but they were hardly recognizable. I guess I was so used to them as "gay" B&C... I'm not sure which one I like better, the "shock" and humopr of seeing them as the "three minute" guys for the other team will probably only work once, plus, given the stupid stips at Unforgiven, probably won't make it too easy to get into them from the get-go. Plus, I actually liked "gay" B&C a LOT... although I knew when the "wedding" came that was the end, as there really wasn't anywhere else to go with them at that point.
