The One and Only "Sopranos Season 4 Thread"

Dames- No offense, I know you started up one already, but that one has no spoilers allowed. I made this one so that those who have already seen the first episode of Season 4 can come here and discuss it.

 

So I live in Canada, and saw it last night as opposed to Sunday night like you lucky yanks, here's what I thought.

 

Golden Moment of the show: Furio comes into the hotel room with a boatload of foreign stewardesses. I cannot, cannot repeat how much Furio needs to step it up this season. I read a rumour that Carmella develops a bit of a thing for him. Let's pray it's true.

 

Who's getting whacked?: The strong rumour going around is that in the first three episodes, a somewhat major character is taking the ol' dirt nap. So, who's going? Ralphie? Uncle Junior? Christopher? Paulie? I'm sort of confused about this whole situation, but I'm going to go with either Uncle Junior or Paulie. Here's why:

 

- the FBI Informant/Christopher/Adriana thing needs to play out big over the whole season. I can see it ending with Tony finding out and killing either Chris or Adriana, or both.

 

- the looming relationship between Ralphie and Janice should play out big, culminating in (obviouslly) Tony killing Ralphie.

 

All in all, a strong first episode, as it didn't give away too much, but set the tone for the season. We should now expect to see

 

- Tony getting smarter with his money

- Junior delving deeper into depression about his upcoming trial

- Paulie being to possibly turn for the NY families

- Carmella beging to develop a more "Mafia wife" type role, with attitude and such

- Tony and Christophers bond becomes stronger

- Christopher becomes more volatille and dangerous

Yeah, It got leaked or revealed that someone will get whacked early in the season...I know it won't be richie since They showed him in the Vegas scenes but I never Saw Paulie but he's a key part...
