Disturbed is headlining with a full set! Also bands I want to see: Ra StrateJacket Blindside 4:20 Must Flaw 3rd Strike and a few more, unfortunately the set times kinda interfere with my plans a tad bit

First time I saw em was at Ozzfest...I was pretty good tohugh, the set times at Ozzfest were so convenient, because there'd be a band I like, then a shitty band, then good band, bad band... Switched(good), Down(bad), Adema (good..at least on the CD, but live they need to fix their treble), Black Label Society, P.O.D., Rob Zombie, SYSTEM OF A DOWN, then Ozzy, but we left right after System (nothing could top their performance, not even the Ozzman) so I can't judge on Ozzy.

I can't even remember who played, but I was sunburned for about a week and a half from standing in the middle of a field all day. Anyone who leaves before Ozzy Fucking Osbourne is sick in the head, and should be beaten with a sack of doorknobs.

However, there was an entirely different set of bands, including Mad at Gravity, Earshot, Audiovent, Nonpoint, Mushroomhead, and headliners Sevendust, among others.

Best band: Flipp Second best: Black Label Society Band that was hyped the most, but failed to deliver IMO: Hatebreed (not a fan, really, but I heard they put on a killer live show, and they fucking sucked)
Guest cartman Posted September 23, 2002 Report Posted September 23, 2002 I agree...and as for Flipp I thought they were great, even if half the crowd I was in the middle of kept chanting "you suck cock"... sidenote...I was right in the front at the main stage for the first 4 hours of the show, then my girl got clostrophobic(sp?) and started flippin out...which she never does since she LOVES pits and crowd surfing. So we had to get out, and I ended up watching the rest of the bands from near the production tent. Great show I thougt...Flaw was good too, Hatebreed sucked ass but i dont care for them either...Ra kicked ass...I got burnt to a crisp...i'm at work right now TRYING to keep myself upright. Good times! Also, Corey, what did you think of StrateJacket? if you even saw them?

Payback just became a blatant tool ripoff in order to get noticed, and the rest of the CD was really uninspired, IMO. When their singles came out, I thought they were pretty damn catchy, with some good riffs, but when I listened to the whole cd..ye gods. absolute crap.
