It unfolds like a collection of episodes from a new reality show called "The Contenders," which has its contestants battle it out in a battle royale across the country, fighting to the death. Someone can fill in the holes if I missed anything. ~SPOILERS~~SPOILERS~~SPOILERS~~SPOILERS~~SPOILERS~~SPOILERS~ Well, the thing is, she has been the winner of the previous 6 series and this is the only way she can make any money since no one will employ a pregnant woman. Well, one of the other contestants is a registered nurse and as she tries to kill her (the nurse), she goes into labor. None of the crew will help her so the nurse has a choice: kill the champion and advance in the game, killing the baby as well, or deliver the baby and miss out on a golden opportunity. She decides to deliver the baby and her life is spared. There is also a whole subplot of one of the other contesants being an ex-boyfriend of hers and they wind up being the last two standing. They try to run instead of killing one another and hole themselves up in a movie theater, where they agree to kill each other, but he survives and becomes the new champion.
