I have my eye on these 2 movies both are directed by Tsiu Hark and both have great cast.

 

Jet Li is in Once Upon A Time in China 3 in the movie series that made him famous but is just the basic movie without extras other than being in English. While Dragon Inn is a Special Edition with commentary by the guy from Black Belt magazine. Dragon Inn has Bridget Lin & Leslie Chueng from Bride with White Hair and Donnie Yen of Iron Monkey in it.

Get a Region Free DVD Player and get the Hong Kong Legends versions of those titles.

I will get the Tai Seng versian from Walmart or the mall both DVDs are on sale. Tai Seng is the only distributer that I trust for Region 1 DVDs, its $12 can't go wrong with this company.

 

have you seen either movie or know enough to suggest which one is better? I am leaning more to Dragon Inn because of the commentary and it seems to have more of a plot than the usual Jet Li propaganda movie of Chinese vs religious cult/white man.
