Snoop Dogg's New Album

Snoop Dogg will release his 6th album, Paid Tha Cost To Be Da Boss on November 26th. The anticipated album features a track called Pimp't Slapped that includes shots at Death Row head Suge Knight, and rappers Kurupt and Xzibit.

 

On Suge Knight, Snoops raps: "You just need to start rhymin'/ 'Cause you're the biggest star on your label/ And them other niggas are just crumbs off my table."

 

Elsewhere on the track, Snoop raps: "A lot of niggas should have said it/ Fuck 'em, but I'm gonna say it for 'em/ Stop it, pop it, rewind it and play it for 'em/ Suge Knight's a bitch and that's on my life/ Your rappers and artists tell 'em shut it up/ 'Cause I'll fuck every last one of them up/ Especially Kurupt/ See that's my lil' homeboy, so he knows what's up."

 

On Xzibit, Snoop raps: "I'm not Xzibit/ You can't pull my ho card"

 

The song is mainly a follow up to Snoop's frustrations about his fellow West Coast rappers bashing So So Def producer Jermaine Dupri rather than Suge Knight. No mentions are made of Dr. Dre or Eminem, however, and both of them were also involved in the Dupri bashing last year.

 

Snoop bashed Suge Knight on his underground track, Death Row Is Bitches which was never released on a major album.

 

Snoop's new album will feature Jay-Z, Redman, and Nate Dogg with production from the Neptunes, DJ Premier, Just Blaze, Jelly Roll & Fredwreck. Snoop even cut a track with Lenny Kravitz, but may not use it in the album.

I was going to post this, but anyway why is Snoop going after Xzibit on the Durpi diss when Dre and Em were dissing Dupri as well, but ain't going say anything about Dre and Em.
