"Madelyn Toogood, fled to the Morristown area after authorities in Indiana released the videotape, made Sept. 13th.

 

While back in New Jersey, authorities said yesterday, Toogood had her 4 year old girl examined by a doctor in Monmouth County and then took photographs of the girl, apparently to document the daughter was unharmed.

 

But because the firl was naked in the photographs, photo developers at an Eckerd Drug Sore in Wall Township called police to report a possible case of child pornography or abuse.

 

Now, in a development certain to complicate her legal situation, the Indiana woman is under investigation by the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office."

I don't see how she has the gall to plead not guilty. They showed her beating the tar out of her kid RIGHT THERE. What's she trying to say, "Oh, I was just swatting at a bee behind my child's head." It doesn't fucking matter if the kid is smashed up, thankfully the kid isn't. She beat her kid up, and she should pay the goddamn price.

The not guilty plea is procedural. She disagrees with the characterisation of the violence, not the fact that it occurred.

I made that up as a ridiculous excuse for a not guilty plea. When I post facts, I generally add a link to a source. That was just me being annoyed.

 

And how can she possibly think that act can be characterized as anything other than her pounding her kid with her fist? It's child abuse, and it's battery.
