Guest The Superstar Posted September 21, 2002 Report Posted September 21, 2002 Well, I just dug the tapes out the other day and was wondering what everyone else thought. I picked the original, because it r0x! "BOSSONOVA~!"
Guest The Superstar Posted September 21, 2002 Report Posted September 21, 2002 "Just ninja-kick the damn rabbit!" Sorry, I'm watching it right now. CASEY JONES~!
Guest Youth N Asia Posted September 21, 2002 Report Posted September 21, 2002 "You fight well, but in the old style..." Part one...like it's even close. 1 kicked ass 2 wasn't as good but kinda funny 3 sucked so bad
Guest Big McLargeHuge Posted September 21, 2002 Report Posted September 21, 2002 The original is the best. It still held up pretty well, the last time I saw it. As a kid, I didn't notice the sly adult jokes that were put into it. I appreciate them now, obviously. Plus the fights kicked ass considering there were 4 guys parading around in heavy-ass turtle suits. And I think the name Corey Feldman speaks for itself. Part 2 had Ernest Reyes, Jr. and Kevin Nash. Eh. Part 3 NEVER should've happened. Unless they were gonna introduce Krang or something, they shouldn't even have bothered.
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Posted September 21, 2002 Report Posted September 21, 2002 Seeing how I've only seen the first one, my vote goes to that -- there's a reason I didn't see the other two... I think a poll as to who is your fav. TMNT would have gotten better results...
Guest DJ Jeff Posted September 21, 2002 Report Posted September 21, 2002 I voted for the first one, mainly because I can't remember anything from the second one, and I never saw the third one. Was Nash really in the second episode? *loads up KaZaa and searches for Teenage Mutant Ninga Turtles: Part 2*
Guest Kagato Otaku Posted September 21, 2002 Report Posted September 21, 2002 Was Nash really in the second episode? Yes, yes, a hundred times yes. He plays the "Super Shredder", who is like Shredder, only super. He drinks a magic mutagen formula which causes him to grow a plastic bodysuit and "Super Shredder Action-Claws!". His ethnicity also changes from Japanese to American. FYI - The director's cut of TMNT 2 has him tripping over Leonardo and crumpling over in pain. *loads up KaZaa and searches for Teenage Mutant Ninga Turtles: Part 2* TMNT 2 can be found cheap at most any video store you go to. It'd save you a great deal of effort just to spend the .99 cents and rent it.
Guest Razor Roman Posted September 23, 2002 Report Posted September 23, 2002 FYI - The director's cut of TMNT 2 has him tripping over Leonardo and crumpling over in pain. Holy crap that's funny! I watched the credits to confirm that yes, it is Kevin Nash as super shredder.
Guest Nevermortal Posted September 23, 2002 Report Posted September 23, 2002 I prefer II...and I don't know why, but I can accept that the original is indeed the best one. Maybe its the fact that II has Vanilla Ice, Kevin Nash, and Tokka & Rahzar.
Guest treble charged Posted September 23, 2002 Report Posted September 23, 2002 FYI - The director's cut of TMNT 2 has him tripping over Leonardo and crumpling over in pain. He made a funny! I never saw the 3rd one, but I seem to remember liking the 2nd one over the first one, for whatever reason. 'They're babies!?!?!?'
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted September 23, 2002 Report Posted September 23, 2002 I know the first is the best, and the third is the worst(supposedly), but the third is my favorite for (which I say you can't go wrong with) the misplaced modern people in olden times plot. Being a history freak has a lot to do with it probably. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest The Superstar Posted September 24, 2002 Report Posted September 24, 2002 Maybe its the fact that II has Vanilla Ice, Kevin Nash, and Tokka & Rahzar Go Ninja Go Ninja GO!
Guest papacita Posted September 25, 2002 Report Posted September 25, 2002 Pt. 2 has been playing on one of those movie channels this weekend. I just watched it saturday. As for which one is the best...I kinda wish I hadn't taped over 1 and 3 with wrestling, but I'll just say 2 since it was my favorite when I was little anyway.
