The crowd was super-hot throughout, it settled a long running feud, and I found Rick Martel's comical antics (Kicking at the air, attempting a backbody drop, running chest first into the ropes, attacking the referee...) entertaining. As for worst Wrestlemania match ever, it has the be the hell in a cell from WM XV, hands down. There are some other awful matches, but I wouldn't consider them among the worst ever if they were only a 2-3 minutes long

Other dreadful mania matches that havent been said: Ultimate Warrior Vs Hercules (WM IV) Hulk Hogan Vs Andre the Giant (WM IV) Hacksaw Jim Duggan Vs Bad News Brown (WM V) Roddy Piper Vs Bad News Brown (WM VI) Doink Vs Crush (WM IX) Bodydonnas Vs Godwins (WM XII) Most of the card at WM XV was dreadful bar X-pac/Shane McMahon and the main event. Rikishi and Kane vs Road Dogg and X-Pac (WM 2000)

Hercules vs. Haku at WM V was actually pretty good. LOD vs. Power & Glory was too short to be bad. That leaves Warrior/Hercules, as Herc's lone awful Wrestlemania match.

Taker vs. Bossman sucked Roberts vs. Martel blindfold match was such a horrible idea. Wonder why it hasn't been done again? Macho Man vs. Crush "Falls Count anywhere" WM10 Boring as hell. The total crap that was the main event of WM9 Bret Hart vs. Yokozuna... Then Hogan vs. Yoko - Hogan has no trouble beating Yoko thus making Bret Hart look totally unworthy of being a main eventer.

Bam Bam Bigelow Vs L.T (11)-As far as Celeb matches go...Decent but for WM Main Events? Horrible. Undertaker Vs Sid (13)-I blame Shawn. Hulk Hogan Vs Sgt. Slughter (7)-Offensive and dull.

Wrestling wise, the match was poor.. but the emotion behind the match will never be equalled, so I have to disagree with you on it being one of the worst Wrestlemania matches ever.

T&A/Headcheese, WM 16- AWFUL, AWFUL match with an even lamer heat segment on a friggin block of cheese.... what fucking joke. 9. Hogan/Slaughter, WM 7- The angle behind this was almost as offensive as the match. I think I fell off after Sarge had Hogan in the damn Cobra clutch for what felt like FOREVER. 8. Hogan/Andre, WM 3- Historically significant, yes. Good match? No. This was just a boring pile of horseshit with insane heat. 7. Terri/Kat, WM 16- THESE two on the biggest show of the year wrestling? WHAT THE FUCK? 6. Chyna/Ivory, WM 17- No, Ivory can't carry no-talent sloths. 5. Undertaker/Giant Gonzalez, WM 9- I think this very match caused me to stop watching wrestling for a couple of months because it was so horrible..... 4. Sable/Tori, WM 15- Betcha forgot about this stinker, didn't ya? 3. BBB/Gargoyle vs The Clowns, WM 10- Man... who in their right mind thought this was a good idea? 2. Undertaker/Sid, WM 13- This just summed up the awful nature of the card aside from Austin/Hart. 1. Undertaker/Bossman, WM 15- Throw my hat in for the execution of the next dipshit to EVER book UT/Bossman ever again.

Maybe because the whole purpose gimmick was for storyline purposes. Martel blinds Roberts, so Martel enters a blindfold match to 'see' (well, not really) what it feels like.
