Star Wars isn't really that great, and its not necessarily even science fiction so much as fantasy, but that's another debate for another day. Guest geniusMoment Report post Posted September 30, 2002 If you never saw the television show, the x files movies was just okay. If you watched the television show up until that point the movie was absolutly great The storylines and swerves for the previous 5 years all came together and answers were finally given. Plus William Davis was great in it. Rule of thumb for the X files, the television show, was if Davis' name flashed across the screen in begining it was going to be a great show, he simply wasn't needed for the bad ones.
