Creating the next great tag team

There's been similar threads, like "how to save the Tag Team Division, etc." on the Smarkboard, but this one takes a little bit more thought.

 

If you could take any two of the "underutilized" WWF stars at the moment (they MUST be under at least a developmental deal) and create the "Next Big Thing"...who would it be?  What would their gimmick be?  It's obvious that the WWF teams need to be saved by a duo of Hollywood Blondes proportions.  So who should step up to the plate?

 

I'll get this started.  The first team I'd "create" would probably be Mike Sanders and Jamie Knoble.  Both are getting rave reviews from Jim Ross and all the "higher ups", so here's how I'd bring them in.

 

Sanders would still have that trademark smirk and cocky attitude, but he'd be more of an "intellectual", preppy kind of guy that looks like he's fresh out of college.  He'd take care of the matwork, and be the team's strategist.  He's got the type of mouth that can either make the team look great, or get them into trouble when it comes to feuds.

 

Knoble would be the boy-next-door with a mean streak, with the announcers putting over what a talent he is, but his attitude is lost on them.  Knoble would take care of the teams high spots and high impact manuevers.  He'd have the pretty boy cocky attitude, vain, but not to the extent of Buff Bagwell or anything.  Promo wise he's not that great on the mic, so what he says would come in small doses.

 

Have them debut after Wrestlemania, coming in and saying that they are the perfect role models for today's youth.  They don't need weapons to beat someone, like The Dudleys.  They don't get hammered like The APA.  They're not trying to rebell like The Hardy's.  They're two young, proper and pure men who are going to show the fans that they have gotten ahead in life, just by being themselves.  Of course, since they're heels, that means plenty of cheap tactics to give them a hypocritical edge that helps to get them over as heels.

 

As far as a team name, I'm lost at the moment, but I'd like to see what you guys think of my idea, as well as some of your own.
