Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2002 via 1w Teddy Petty passed away tonight of a massive heart attack. Details are still sketchy, but it has been confirmed to me that Rocco Rock passed away about an hour ago. He wrestled against Crowbar at the Jersey City show on the first match, because Crowbar had a double shot in Elizabeth, NJ. Teddy also had a double shot for 3PW against Gary Wolfe in his first title defense of the 3PW Heavyweight title. Teddy was so happy about getting married on October 26th. ----- Damn

Guest TheHulkster Report post Posted September 22, 2002 Thats a damn shame, but at least he lived as long as he did. The first ECW match I ever saw had Rocco in it. It was Public Enemy Vs Taz & Sabu. It played a big part in turning me into a fan of ECW. RIP Rocco Rock
Guest treble charged Report post Posted September 22, 2002 Uh, 49 really isn't that long of a life. It's a rather young age to die at, in fact.
Guest mesepher Report post Posted September 22, 2002 damn... Public Enemy were pretty cool in ECW too. to bad they got trashed in the WWF. too many old ECWers are dying off man.
Guest TheHulkster Report post Posted September 22, 2002 True, but look at how many guys drop dead in their 20's and 30's in wrestling, especially on the indy scene. You would be suprised. That and he was fortunate have a long career of in-ring competition.
Guest The Czech Republic Report post Posted September 23, 2002 If he was 49, that means he would've been in his early 40s at his peak in ECW and WCW. That's really weird.
Guest Retro Rob Report post Posted September 23, 2002 I never would have guessed he was 49.
