Late Night Talk Shows on DVD

Shouldn't they be putting out old seasons of Late Night with Conan O'Brien and various other late night talks shows(Letterman, Johnny Carson, etc.) on DVD? I think that would be an awesome idea, but I doubt it would ever happen.

They do have a collection of Johnny Carson's shows on tape (and I think DVD). I've seen the infomercial a few times.

Yeah no doubt. I would buy a best of Conan O'Brien or Letterman DVD for sure but if you are talking about the complete episodes that would be insanely high in the $$$ department.

I wouldn't think it's possible or at least not marketable. Think of how many discs that would take.

I'm thinking the most probable way that this could happen is if they only include the monologues, skits, etc. Possibly, they could have some interviews with big stars (like a Tom Hanks, etc.), but only a couple.

I might like to see something like that from Conan O'Brien. The interviews are usually out of date after a while anyway.

I would buy a best of Conan O'Brian if it included some of the funniest skits, such as Triumph the dog. The only episode the should be complete is the one right after the MTV VMA with Jeanene Garlofo as guest.

 

Letterman could have a best of Stupid Pet Tricks or Stupid Human Tricks or one of the anniversy specials.
